Chapter 392 - The Gu Yue Clan's Prodigy: Part Nine

Just because this area was nominally unclaimed didn't mean that Fang Yuan could just take it however.

Right now, although he was a Righteous Path Gu Master in name, he would probably still be classified as a lone cultivator simply because he was not associated with any major force.

He was only Rank 6, after all, and that meant he was at the bottom of the totem pole in the Immortal world hierarchy.

If he were Rank 7 or higher, he could certainly declare this region to be his openly and no one would try to invade without proper justification. After all, strength dictated everything in this world.

Right now, though, if he wanted to secure this area, he would still need to speak with a Super Force in order to establish a sense of legitimacy.

For now though, you could say this region truly was 'his' though it was of little value. No Immortal Resources grew anywhere near here. There were no Immortal Beasts either.

The absence of any other Immortal in the area meant that Fang Yuan could do whatsoever he wanted with the Gu Yue villagers and the surrounding villages.

He had already concocted a plan, though he wanted to check on something before he acted.

What was that something?

Well, while he had been speaking to the villagers, a change had happened within his aperture. The great Integration Formation, which was adding up all the human experiences within his aperture, had produced a small block of Truthful Floating Ice.

He immediately went to his aperture to harvest this gain.

Fang Yuan removed the block of Truthful Floating Ice from the Integration Formation. It was childishly easy. It didn't seem like Paradise Earth was hindering him in any way, which allowed him to consume it.

With that, the experiences of the humans within his aperture began to flood his mind. The way that human experience had evolved and sustained within his aperture began adding to his understanding of the Human Path.

His Human Path attainment increased greatly, however, it was still at the quasi-Great Grandmaster level. It was not enough to produce a massive qualitative change. Fang Yuan thought that was because right now, most of the human civilizations within his aperture were rather rudimentary. If he wanted to know about the true human experience, they would need to build larger cities, and then later on, nation-states or kingdoms.

That said, this gain was not nothing.

Fang Yuan had earlier been considering what to do with the Gu Yue villagers as he had little use for them. Now that he wasn't gaining any Human Path dao marks from them directly, he had no intention of really raising any of them - especially not distributing Ambition Gu among them.

One reason was that he didn't care about raising them whatsoever, and the second was that it would reveal him as the person who was selling Ambition Gu. Given the amount of attention that had garnered him on Treasure Yellow Heaven, it was not worth taking that kind of risk. Even now, his will in Treasure Yellow Heaven received daily requests regarding Ambition Gu and for when Fang Yuan would have the next batch ready.

With that said, enough time had passed for him to sell another batch.

Fang Yuan retrieved his Rank 6 Ambition Gu and fed it a few beads of Grape Green Immortal Essence as it spat out large numbers of mortal Ambition Gu for him to place on the market.

A massive commotion began on Treasure Yellow Heaven. Before, when Fang Yuan had been selling them, he had nothing but his word to back him up. However, now that word had spread and people had begun trading it among themselves, they realized just how valuable these batches of Ambition Gu were. He was immediately flooded with people demanding to pay him. Fang Yuan coldly chuckled to himself. The price had already gone up 50% as many Super Forces openly declared who they were in the hopes of obtaining more and dissuading other buyers; not that such a thing would do much in Yellow Treasure Heaven.

Fang Yuan continued selling his batches of Ambition Gu. He didn't see 'Ambition Seeking Immortal' again though the person in question could've just been buying under a different name. Or gnashing his teeth that the price had risen so quickly.

Fang Yuan held no regard for any prior promise to price - here in Yellow Treasure Heaven his shamelessness could be displayed to its fullest extent.

He left his Will to continue doing so as he started working on his newest idea.

This new flash of inspiration he had gained - the attainment from the Truthful Floating Ice - had allowed him to gain new insight into The Legends of Ren Zu. He opened a copy, flipping to the page he was concerned about, and read the paragraph three or four times before the puzzle pieces began falling into place in his head.

The foundation for a killer move was right here, he realized. Not only that, but it was a reason to keep the Gu Yue Villagers alive for reasons other than harvesting them for Blood Path methods.

Fang Yuan had been planning on exploring the Dream Realm he had obtained on Qing Mao Mountain once his soul had recovered and was well-refreshed. But with this new flash of inspiration, he had something that could make exploring it much easier.

Because of that, Fang Yuan chose to delay the exploration of said Dream Realm and instead work on this new killer move.

Not limited to just doing one thing at a time, he sent a piece of his Will deep into Bei Gu Mountain to look for a milk spring.

He had not forgotten about the case of the Deep Dwellers who were suffering from the effects of being away from sunlight.

If he could resolve this effect without altering the environment of his aperture too much, he felt the next block of Truthful Floating Ice might contain far deeper insight into the Human Path than what he had right now if they managed to build a real civilization for themselves.

His will managed to find an unused milk spring within the mountain. The only problem was trying to transplant this portion into his aperture.

Fang Yuan could try and replicate the structure of the mountain which generated these milk springs in the first place. This was done via a complicated natural process in which bone beasts died and their nutrients seeped into the soil, being concentrated after multiple layers of filtration through the soil and its complex topography which further enriched this water until it became a milk spring. Once enough of it gathered, it would build up in pressure and then form a milk spring.

Fang Yuan could not replicate all that unless he grabbed the mountain and dropped it into his aperture. Now that he had spoken to Jun Sheng, that was not impossible though it might cost him a few Immortal Essence Stones.

However, he wanted to keep the Gu Yue villagers on Bei Gu Mountain for now, and relocating them would be a headache.

More importantly, he could not just drop an entire mountain into his aperture as he could only made very small changes so as not to interfere with the Integration Formation in the sky.

But taking an entire mountain and dropping it into his aperture would without a doubt cause a massive commotion among the humans in his aperture. Their development would be greatly affected. That would massively hinder his future plans. It might even cause Bone Path dao marks to begin appearing in his aperture, something he had to avoid. The Bone Path did not have good prospects.
