Retsu's ears were ringing. He gripped Charlie's enormous fist with his bony hands and tried to pry him off of him.
He tasted a metallic liquid in his mouth and realized that he had bit his tongue.
"You're about to be very unlucky." Charlie spat and picked Retsu up by his head.
Through the chaos he heard Rori screaming in terror. He opened his right eye and managed to make eye contact with her, she was looking at him with horror.
Do I really look that bad? He wondered. His body had reduced to nearly a skeleton but he had 5000 HP after he defeated both Bob and the lackeys so he actually had more HP than Charlie. He wasn't going to gain any more from his beserker mode, but he felt he didn't need to.
As Charlie lifted him off of the ground, his fist began squeezing his head and cracks began to form on his skull.
-1000 HP his skull cracked and a red notification began to flash before his eyes
[Warning! You have been gravely injured, you will lose 100HP per second if injury persists.]
His 5000 had quickly jumped to 3800 and began counting down. If he had gotten injured like that before defeating Bob, he would have been killed instantly.
Oh that's why Rori is screaming. He thought as he did his best to pry himself out of Charlie's grasp. He couldn't lose his cool right now. Charlie's grasp was like iron. Retsu struggled to concentrate with the flashing warning and the countdown to his demise.
What are you doing! His wolf suddenly yelled at him, let me out you're going to get us killed!
Huh?
"I said let me out!!!!!" His wolf yelled as he came to the forefront of his mind.

"Necroclaw!" His wolf yelled and he found his body moving on its own as his claws dug into Charlie's hand and arm.
With one touch, his skin began to burn. He wasn't surprised because he knew Retsu had a fire ability, but this was not fire.
[Familiar is awakened, all wolf skills are now active.] His black hair turned grey but nothing else happened.
Of course Retsu knew was barely a werewolf, 'what the heck?! Who designed this alpha system anyways?!' If he survived this he would give them a piece of his mind.
Charlie let go of Retsu, and he launched himself away from Charlie by blowing a fire breath right in his face and kicked himself backwards with his flames. The flames curled around filling the space between them, and his wolf put as much distance between them as he could.
His beat-up body slammed onto the ground again and he continued to lose hp as he skid backwards and rolled. More blood filled his lungs making him cough. He lifted himself halfway onto his bony forarm and his green eyes flashed as he oriented himself to see where his opponent was and if he had been affected.
Charlie stumbled backwards and screamed in pain as his flesh began rotting. "What is this?" He demanded, "What did you do to me?"
Retsu's injury was quickly losing his HP. In fact, he was worse- off than Charlie, but he forced himself to stand. It had been half a minute now and he had lost 3000 hp.
His aura flooded the area even though he only had 8 seconds left to live. He walked past Charlie and went straight for Rori. He had a crazed look in his eye and the scared girl probably thought he was a full demon by now.
An understanding came over them as if she could somehow read his thoughts and she cut off her hand and threw it at him. The lackeys and Charlie couldn't believe what she'd just done. Before they could ask, he caught the appendage in his mouth and his body finished shifting into a wolf, completely healed.

"KNEEL!" His voice erupted from his wolf form.
Charlie and the lackeys were too stunned to speak and Charlie was rotting away at a speed that Retsu hadn't expected, so this was Necroclaw!
Charlie fell to his knees as Retsu's wolf towered over him. "You are mine!
Understand!" He gnashed his teeth at Charlie menacingly. Biting the air right before his face.
Charlie cowered before him but didn't say anything. He was in a predicament, but he didn't want to submit. He had defeated Bob seconds after he was turned by him and this Alpha aura and all of these werewolf powers made him feel stronger than he had ever felt. And now this weak wolf had somehow overpowered him, and he was astonished that every time that he thought he knew the extent of his power, Retsu had managed to increase in power the next moment. So all Charlie could do even against his own will was kneel.
The lackey's took this to be a bluff on Charlie's part and a sharp pain pierced Retsu as a knife was suddenly thrust through him from behind. But he could hear their breathing behind him and he had known they were coming. His eyes narrowed and he turned around to face the two stupid humans behind him. A breath of fire escaped his mouth and they had been incinerated.
"I'm about to be unlucky how?" Retsu's wolf asked him, snapping his teeth again, smoke escaping from the corners of his mouth.
Charlie remembered that he had said that to him at the beginning of the fight. He bowed his head this time. "Please…he begged, please stop the rot, I'll submit." He plead. Completely humbled for the first time in his life.
Somehow the fight had lasted all night and the sun was just beginning to come up over the mountains.
Retsu's wolf rose his head and looked at the pink coming up over the horizon. "You'll survive." He scoffed.
Retsu's wolf then turned and walked away and as he stepped, his body returned to his human state. His eyes went back to regular green eyes and then he fell to the ground and passed out.
[Congratulations! A new member has joined your pack. please select the status of the new pack member!"]
But Retsu wasn't awake anymore, so he didnt select anything.
Rori ran over to his side and skid through the ashes of the lackeys, falling to her knees. Then she rolled him over, pulling him by the remenants of his shirt and then she checked him all over but he seemed to be completely healed. He had even somehow maintained his pants intact. She was grateful for that. She gave him a huge hug with tears running down her face and exclaimed in between sobs of relief. "Oh Retsu! I was so worried! Thank goodness!"
