If anything, the lake's domain pressed harder, suppressing his divinity and lightning with the ease of a giant snuffing out a candle. The water around him thickened, heavy and suffocating, smothering his elemental outburst under its weight.
Damon frowned. The little guys were working with too much home-ground advantage. But he was also not done yet. Very few of them might have died, but that was more than enough for his bloodline to pull out some of their skills.
Damon's shadow affinity started exploding once again. Even though the skills were not useful for him right this moment, to fight against these endless worms, the burst in affinity itself gave him some leeway.
