Chapter 601: Rebellion, Part Three
The soul power radiating from the elder was undoubtedly at a peerless level. At this moment, Jiang Nannan's mind went blank, unable even to mount a defense as she launched her full force attack.
The massive hammer struck her, sending Jiang Nannan flying backward. The overwhelming power smashed her through hundreds of buildings in succession, before she finally pierced straight through the entire Da Luo City.
In the instant their martial souls were unleashed, their identities were exposed: they were disciples of the once preeminent weapon martial soul sect, the HaoTian Sect.
The one delivering such a heavy blow to Jiang Nannan was none other than the HaoTian Sect's Second Elder, Earth Fiend Douluo one of the few Super Douluos among their ranks.
Without wasting any words, the two figures sprang into action, transforming into two streams of light that streaked towards Jiang Nannan's fallen position.
"Strike when she's weak! Finish her off!"
According to HaoTian Sect's plan, despite having four gods among them, the high level combat forces of the Tianxing Federation remained too formidable. Therefore, before an all out war could erupt, the HaoTian Sect aimed to ambush and eliminate some of the Federation's top powerhouses.
Jiang Nannan lay embedded in a rocky cliff. The relentless and brutal assault, despite her frighteningly strong four word battle armor's defense, left her blood and internal organs in turmoil. She was in no condition to recover to her normal fighting strength anytime soon.
Yet Ye Wen had chosen Jiang Nannan as a disciple not for her beauty, but for a different reason.
"An unfamiliar four word battle armor and an attack without hesitation these people are enemies! Enemies of the HaoTian Sect! I can't go on like this! I have to stand and fight! And I have to get this information to my master and sisters!"
A surge of strong willpower burst forth in Jiang Nannan, who broke free of the earth in an instant. Even though Ye Wen's intervention had moderated her once reckless nature, earning her the nickname "Mad Rabbit," her unyielding spirit was still the same. The drive for strength and the refusal to surrender had been etched deep into her bones.
Yet, the HaoTian Sect's duo allowed her no respite; they struck again just as she escaped.
Thanks to Ye Wen's development of soul guidance technology, the Tianxing Federation now had widespread access to communication soul guides. However, with Super Douluos moving at such high speeds, even soul guided communicators could not function properly. As a result, the devices were often tucked away in Jiang Nannan and her companions' storage soul guides and were currently out of reach.
Realizing she couldn't send out an alert, Jiang Nannan kept her cool, rapidly analyzing her situation and developing a corresponding combat strategy.
"My body's condition is poor right now. Recklessly using ring detonation would only result in severe backlash. These two clearly mean to kill me, leaving me no escape, and the interference from their soul power prevents me from using the communication soul guide. My priority now is to put distance between us.
If that's the case "
A fierce glint flashed in Jiang Nannan's eyes. Facing the Second Elder's incoming HaoTian Hammer, she activated her fourth soul skill, Step Moon. This was a sacrificial attack that tapped into her full potential, typically causing self injury upon use. It was a soul skill Ye Wen had chosen for Jiang Nannan to bolster her combat capabilities in the early stages.
Her leg armor, moon white, instantly turned jet black, and she activated her stance to enhance her power further.
The tremendous force caused the ground beneath them to quake and fragment. However, Jiang Nannan was not utilizing the skill correctly. To maximize this soul skill's power, she needed only to cover her lower leg with armor, yet she enveloped her entire thigh. Naturally, Jiang Nannan wasn't trying to clash head on with the Second Elder.
A mere fourth soul skill was no match for the Second Elder's HaoTian Nine Techniques, even when supplemented by her self created soul skill. Jiang Nannan's display of readiness to meet the attack head on was just a feint.
The force of impact allowed her to accelerate, propelling her towards the other HaoTian Sect powerhouse.
Although Jiang Nannan was strikingly beautiful, it was evident she couldn't sway the emotions of the middle aged man before her. He too used the HaoTian Nine Techniques, achieving peerless might with the amplification of his four word battle armor.
If she took this hit head on, Jiang Nannan would likely be left with nothing more than a shadow of her life!
But just as the massive hammer was about to make contact, Jiang Nannan disappeared in an instant.
[Third Soul Skill: Teleport!] This skill allowed her to shift within a five meter radius freely. Although this distance was trivial for Titled Douluos, it created a surprising effect in this moment.
Jiang Nannan reappeared behind the middle aged man, yet she didn't launch a counterattack. Instead, she gathered all her strength in her legs.
"Instant Step: Extreme!"
Her powerful soul power erupted, and in an instant, Jiang Nannan vanished from sight.
The Second Elder's expression shifted. Neither he nor his companion specialized in speed, and if Jiang Nannan escaped, it would spell serious trouble!
"After her!" he shouted.
Both transformed into streaks of black light and chased her relentlessly.
At that moment, a powerful surge of soul power erupted nearby. Recognizing this familiar soul power, the two halted in their tracks, looking back.
A tall, imposing figure approached them it was none other than Da Ming, the current Sect Master of HaoTian.
The Second Elder quickly asked, "Sect Master, why did you stop us? If we don't pursue her now, she'll get away, and our mission here will be a complete failure!"
But Da Ming only shook his head softly, replying, "Haven't you noticed, Second Elder? You were deceived."
The Second Elder stared at Da Ming, baffled, full of questions.
Da Ming didn't explain further. Instead, he glanced at a nearby boulder and called out casually, "Come out, young lady. I've already found you."
Jiang Nannan hid behind the boulder, her face tense. Continuous use of burst type soul skills took a heavy toll on her. Under normal circumstances, it would have been manageable, but in her severely injured state, it was too much.
The fleeing figure just now had only been her sixth soul skill, Phantom Clone a unique ability that created a tangible clone for up to a minute.
Seeing no movement, Da Ming was unperturbed, speaking calmly.
"I assume you've already sent word of our presence. That's fine."
Hearing this, the Second Elder raised his hammer, ready to strike, but Da Ming lifted a hand to stop him. An astonishing surge of soul power radiated from Da Ming.
"Your death will mark the official declaration of war between the Sea God Alliance and the Tianxing Federation."

Chapter 602: Rebellion, Part Four
Jiang Nannan crushed the communication soul guide in her hand, her face filled with a sense of melancholy. Memories flooded her mind at this moment.
She thought of her impoverished childhood and the joy on her mother's face when she awakened her soul master potential. She remembered the despair she felt when, still a weak child, she had to sell her own body while her mother was seriously ill. Her efforts eventually earned her a place at Shrek Academy, where she could live without relying on anyone, even though she found it repulsive to be constantly pursued by that man named Xu Sanshi.
Then, by a stroke of fortune, she encountered her master, a person of great kindness toward those close to him, though he did have a mischievous streak. Under his guidance, she felt safe. She rose to fame in the Soul Master Tournament and later joined the Tianxing Knights to protect the justice of the Douluo Continent. Now, in service to the Tianxing Federation, she was fulfilling her mission to maintain peace on the continent.
Jiang Nannan's eyes grew resolute. She knew that she might die here today. However, there was no despair in her gaze. Instead, she felt a profound clarity, a feeling beyond words a realization of sorts.
"Perhaps this is the so called 'life flashing before one's eyes,'" she thought silently. But at that moment, a warm, radiant smile broke across her face, bright as the dawn.
"I have no regrets in this life!"
Jiang Nannan stood up, just as Da Ming's soul power surged to its peak, forming a soul power wave seemingly capable of obliterating everything in its path. But this time, Jiang Nannan did not evade.
"Let's die together, you remnants of an outdated era!"
With unwavering determination, Jiang Nannan roared inwardly and reversed the flow of her soul power, activating her four word battle armor!
Ye Wen was usually gentle and playful, though at times he could be darkly humorous and even ruthless. His words echoed in her mind:
"Remember, if you ever find yourself in absolute danger, reverse the flow of your soul power. This will turn your four word battle armor into a weapon as devastating as a Rank 10 soul guided missile. True soul masters understand that, in a real battle, it's often life or death. I want none of my disciples to fear death or surrender. This contingency isn't just to preserve your dignity it's the ultimate revenge on your enemies. Now, make your choice, whatever it may be."
The process of reversing soul power was excruciating, and Jiang Nannan's mind swam with dizziness. She couldn't help but recall the scene when Ye Wen had presented the four word battle armor to her and her sisters.
"Master…I haven't disgraced you."
She knew what becoming a "human bomb" meant, but Jiang Nannan laughed anyway, content that she had not become a burden to those dear to her, even in death.
When Jiang Nannan charged forward, Da Ming was taken aback, though he had already locked onto her position with his spiritual power, leaving her no chance of escape. However, in the briefest of moments, Da Ming froze, horrified by the terrifying soul power radiating from Jiang Nannan's body.
"This is !"
Before Da Ming could fully react, his soul power wave had already struck Jiang Nannan. Yet the expected violent explosion or her tragic demise did not occur. The scene before him only heightened Da Ming's fear.
"God…" he stammered.
Jiang Nannan's entire four word battle armor had detached from her body, transforming into a giant shield that stood before her, shielding her from his attack.
Stunned, Jiang Nannan gazed at the scene. The crescent white four word battle armor, her weapon and shield across Douluo Continent, was undeniably familiar.
"But…why?" she murmured.
Wasn't reversing her soul power supposed to turn the armor into a Rank 10 soul guided bomb? In her severely wounded state, Jiang Nannan struggled to comprehend what was happening.
As Da Ming's attack subsided, Jiang Nannan's four word battle armor, Xuan Yue Rou Ling, didn't return to her body. Instead, it stood independently in front of her, emanating a familiar aura that jolted her back to clarity.
Without thinking, Jiang Nannan blurted out, "Master!?"
Xuan Yue Rou Ling nodded gently.
After his disciple, Xiao Xuenv, was attacked, Ye Wen had realized that constant, impenetrable protection might hinder his disciples' growth. From that point on, he adopted a new approach. First, he would let them face danger, then save them only after they reached the brink of death.
Ye Wen was confident to take this approach because his disciples were now mature and capable. He had taught them not to adopt Shrek Academy's belief that avoiding conflict meant mediocrity. So, before achieving their peak strength, Ye Wen hadn't encouraged his disciples to act recklessly. After reaching maturity, they would inevitably encounter life threatening ambushes like today's.
Ye Wen had anticipated everything.
With four word battle armor, his disciples wouldn't be eliminated instantly. From there, they had only two choices: break through in the face of certain death or die alongside their enemy. It was evident that Jiang Nannan had chosen the latter.
Now, after facing death head on, Jiang Nannan's aura was satisfying to the wisp of Ye Wen's divine sense within her armor. Although Jiang Nannan's martial soul could not compare to the legendary Dragon God Douluo Mu En, her will to evolve and her self created soul skills marked her as a promising figure for future greatness.
Jiang Nannan had finally closed the gap between herself and the most outstanding of Ye Wen's disciples.
Xuan Yue Rou Ling's killing intent erupted, instantly locking onto Da Ming and the two Titled Douluos from HaoTian Sect.
"What audacity. The current HaoTian Sect Master and two elders all joining forces to kill my disciple. Just what sort of explanation do you plan to give me?"
Ye Wen's killing intent was terrifying.
The two elders from HaoTian Sect were already on one knee, filled with disbelief. In their four word battle armor, they should be peerless Douluos, yet Ye Wen's power was overwhelming enough to bring even them to their knees. Just how fearsome was he?
The two HaoTian Sect elders were too stunned to respond, and Da Ming could only stare in shock. Though this wasn't Ye Wen's true form, Da Ming recognized that aura how could he ever forget the Tianxing Douluo who once pummeled him and Er Ming in the Star Luo Empire?
But what kind of monster was Ye Wen? To master the path to divinity with merely a description from Da Ming, and to gather enough faith power in such a short time to create his own god position!
Da Ming was completely shaken!

Chapter 603: Rebellion, Part Five
The Douluo God Realm was buzzing with excitement. It had been a long time since a new god was born in this realm; the recent arrivals had mostly been those who'd picked up remnants of power by chance. But now, the gods of Douluo could sense the birth of a true new god.
In a rare occurrence, the gods gathered outside a formal meeting of the God Realm Committee, their attention focused on Douluo Continent. After all, among the 108 planes in the Douluo God Realm, none had an all seeing monitor except for the committee.
The birth of a new god was undoubtedly an epic tale, and while each god had experienced this journey, it didn't stop them from taking some amusement from the ascension of others. At that moment, the gods resembled a certain pantheon of inept deities gathering for entertainment. Unlike that pantheon, however, they didn't descend to revel with mortals.
At the center of the gathering, the five thrones of the God Kings stood as the premier seats. Yet Tang San's expression was slightly somber.
Unbelievable. He had never expected that such a figure could still emerge from Douluo Continent. As Poseidon's successor, he understood better than anyone the difficulty of creating one's own divine seat. Even Poseidon, the mightiest of the first rank gods, had taken over a thousand years to conquer the seas and secure the faith of sea soul beasts, ultimately ascending to godhood.
But Ye Wen what gave him the right? In an age when even peerless Douluos barely reached a three century lifespan, how could this Ye Wen achieve divinity by his own power? Tang San's irritation only grew.
Yet more than anything, Tang San felt a profound sense of crisis. The Tianxing Federation already possessed significant combat power, with the legacies of the Seven Elemental Gods. And now, they had this abnormal being who created his own divine position. With eight quasi gods assembled there, how could they be defeated?
As Tang San pondered intensely, the God of Destruction watched Da Ming's battle with interest, then glanced over at Tang San, who remained silent.
"If I'm not mistaken, these people belong to the sect established by Tang San's mortal kin," Destruction murmured to himself. However, he dismissed the thought and turned his attention back to Da Ming.
"Tang San, I believe you owe us an explanation," the God of Destruction said calmly.
Tang San's life experiences had taught him to remain unfazed even when his schemes were laid bare. Rather than feel guilty, he would brazenly embellish his motives to make them seem just.
"What seems to be the issue, God of Destruction?" Tang San replied indifferently.
Since becoming a God King, Tang San had never ceased his little maneuvers, though the God of Destruction had ignored them as long as they didn't disrupt the God Realm. But today's circumstances were different.
The God of Destruction demanded, his voice sharp, "Don't feign ignorance, Tang San! How could a newly ascended god possess 109 level divine power? Answer! Have you been secretly interfering with the lower realm?"
This accusation startled the gathered gods, who turned their gaze to Tang San. An enforcer of divine law violating those very laws? This was a scandal!
However, Tang San's expression remained unperturbed. He sat comfortably on his throne, arms crossed. "What of it? My brother in law is reincarnated and cultivating anew. What's wrong with me offering him extra resources? Which part of this violates God Realm laws? Or is it that you, God of Destruction, believe that our descendants or loved ones are forbidden from possessing divine power? You, of course, wouldn't understand this since you have no children, but we're not all like that. We have family and responsibilities."
Tang San was well aware that what he had done to secure Da Ming's divine seat technically violated the God Realm's laws. Unfortunately, with no Time God to turn back time and examine his actions, the evidence was gone. With the divine position already granted and the traces covered, he felt justified in this sardonic response to the God of Destruction. After all, the God Realm forbade gods from harming each other.
Thus, even though he had mocked the God of Destruction's and Life Goddess's childlessness a sore spot for them the God of Destruction couldn't strike him.
But the God of Destruction's position dictated a violent nature, and a torrent of killing intent surged forth at that moment! The gods around them, even first rank gods, felt an intense threat of death and quickly moved away.
With killing intent directed at him, Tang San's face darkened as well. While he had played small tricks before, he hadn't anticipated the God of Destruction's killing intent to be so terrifying. He realized that he would need to proceed with greater caution in the future.
Finally, the recently appointed God of Kindness and God of Evil intervened to put an end to the farcical confrontation. But now the relationship between the God of Destruction and Tang San was irrevocably strained, leaving Tang San to regret his slip of the tongue.
Yet he would never admit wrongdoing. If he were still a first rank god, he would have apologized to his elder brother, the God King. But now, despite the difference in their powers, he had attained the God King realm, and the rules prohibited gods from harming each other. Tang San once again felt untouchable.
The atmosphere within the God Realm Committee grew increasingly tense. The God of Kindness, Blaze, a queenly figure by nature, showed no intention of easing the mood, while the God of Evil, Ji Dong, took on the task of placating everyone, addressing the God of Destruction.
"Brother Destruction, what do you make of this new god's position? My vision is rather limited I only perceive that he seems to possess powers of flame and creation, but I can't discern more. Could you enlighten me?"
The God of Destruction's expression softened slightly. Unlike the scheming Tang San, Ji Dong and his wife were straightforward and pure hearted, much like him and the Life Goddess, and they were the ones he felt closest to. Now reminded to observe the divine fluctuations emanating from Xuan Yue Rou Ling's battle armor, the God of Destruction took a closer look.
He was taken aback.
"A God King candidate!"
!!!
Though his voice was soft, it sent a ripple of shock through the gods.
Since the fall of the Dragon God, the Douluo God Realm had gone far too long without a new God King! Even the Life Goddess, who had been comforting him moments earlier, grew interested, carefully examining the armor.
After a brief glance, she nodded in acknowledgment. "Indeed, it has the potential to become a God King."
The God of Arrogance, a staunch follower of the God of Destruction who had been stuck at the peak of first rank godhood for ages, was piqued by his elder brother's praise of a mere mortal.
"Big Brother, what qualifies this mortal for such power?"

Chapter 604: Rebellion, Part Six
The God of Destruction looked at the God of Arrogance with disappointment.
"Haven't I taught you before? To become a God King, one must walk their own path to its true end, and each person's path differs, each comprehends unique truths. I could tell you more, but without true understanding, it would be meaningless.
"Even though this mortal has only just coalesced his divine position, I can see he has already forged his own path. He navigates many paths fire, creation, wisdom, light, darkness, space, earth, water, fire, wind, and lightning. And beyond these, he possesses even more divine authorities. Yet, within his divine position, these conflicting elements blend together harmoniously, indicating he has mastered each path deeply enough to merge them into a unified force. I can confidently say, as long as he survives, this one will undoubtedly be a new God King within ten thousand years."
The God of Destruction cast a meaningful glance at Tang San. In the God Realm, power was finite, and Tang San's pursuit of dominance would face real obstacles with the emergence of a new God King. Though the God of Destruction had little interest in power himself, he took pleasure in seeing Tang San thwarted.
Meanwhile, the other gods were astounded by the sheer number of divine authorities within Ye Wen's god position. Most gods who created their own divine position in the mortal world had limited lifespans and energy, forcing them to specialize in a single path. But they had never seen a new god like Ye Wen, who possessed over ten different divine powers.
Many gods, who had initially taken amusement in Ye Wen's rise, found it difficult to believe that such a being had been acknowledged by the God of Destruction as a future God King. This unexpected reversal left many of them feeling uneasy, particularly the God of Jealousy. Biting his thumb, he asked the God of Destruction, "Lord Destruction, what do you think this new god's divine position will be?"
Before the God of Destruction could respond, Tang San spoke up with a cold expression.
"Isn't it obvious from that armor? Either he aims to become a God of Forging or a God of Wisdom."
The God of Destruction's face darkened at Tang San's remark, but he decided to respond in kind. As the most powerful being in the God Realm, he couldn't let this upstart tarnish his reputation.
"Keep watching," he said, glancing pointedly at Tang San. "Though I doubt a god who relied on inheriting his divine position could ever defeat a genius who forged his own."
Tang San's face turned even darker, but the God of Destruction had spoken the truth.
Da Ming, for all his strength, had inherited only the position of a second tier deity the Snake God. Although Da Ming's current power reached level 109, gods like Ye Wen, who had ascended independently, generally had a deeper understanding of their own principles and powers.
At the moment, even though Ye Wen had only placed a trace of his divine consciousness within Jiang Nannan's Xuan Yue Rou Ling battle armor, he was still fighting Da Ming to a near standstill perhaps even gaining an advantage.
Jiang Nannan wished to help, but without her four word battle armor, she was only an ordinary Titled Douluo. Having just come back from the brink of death, even remaining conscious required her utmost willpower.
Meanwhile, Da Ming had entered his full power state, clad in a celestial blue god armor, unleashing his might against Ye Wen's battle avatar.
"Tianqing Annihilation Divine Light!"
After forcefully striking Xuan Yue Rou Ling aside, Da Ming understood that his real goal wasn't to defeat Ye Wen's battle armor, but to eliminate potential threats like Jiang Nannan. Although she did not yet have a divine position, who could say what the future held?
"Jiang Nannan, your future is too dangerous. I must kill you here!"
Oddly, Ye Wen did not command Xuan Yue Rou Ling to interrupt Da Ming's attack. For a moment, Da Ming felt suspicious, but he dismissed the thought, focusing on killing Jiang Nannan first.
Only then did Da Ming understand why Ye Wen hadn't intervened.
"An Invincible Shield?? But this defense… how is it possible?"
Da Ming found himself questioning reality. As far as he knew, Douluo Continent's soul guided technology was capped at Rank 10 devices, equivalent to the level of a 99th level peerless Douluo. Yet, his Tianqing Annihilation Divine Light attack held god level power, capable of bypassing even Xiao Wu's Invincible Golden Body from a thousand years ago.
But while Da Ming hesitated, Ye Wen took the opportunity to reattach the Xuan Yue Rou Ling armor to Jiang Nannan, shielding his disciple once more.
During their first encounter, when helping her acquire her fourth soul ring, Ye Wen had advised Jiang Nannan to abandon the Invincible Golden Body skill. He had three reasons for this.
Firstly, in this era, the Invincible Shield was already widely available. Secondly, Jiang Nannan wasn't a transformed 100,000 year soul beast like Xiao Wu; her Invincible Golden Body wouldn't have reached the three second god level invincibility Xiao Wu once wielded. Finally, Ye Wen had great confidence in his own soul guided technology. Given enough time and resources, creating a god level Invincible Shield was simply a matter of minutes.
This was another layer of protection he provided for his disciples. While breaking through deathly situations could often be transformational, Ye Wen was not so arrogant as to believe all his disciples had the kind of fated luck that would see them escape any lethal peril.
Surveying his own life, Ye Wen's guiding principle was to always ensure stability.
Da Ming, quick witted as he was, soon realized Ye Wen's strategy. But he thought Ye Wen's god level power was limited, believing himself to be superior in both strength and divine reserves. In this critical moment, Da Ming resolved to abandon all elaborate tactics and focus on one thing.
"Tianqing Annihilation Divine Light, multiplied!!"
At that moment, Da Ming transformed into a massive cannon, expending divine power as if it were limitless, aiming to annihilate everything in front of him.
He had considered using his domain to lock time, rendering his opponent helpless. However, with both of them possessing divine power, Ye Wen's spatial domain countered Da Ming's time based attacks, leaving only brute force as an option.
Ye Wen wasn't physically present, so with his spiritual lock and relentless attacks, Da Ming believed Jiang Nannan's death was assured.
Watching Ye Wen's protective barriers slowly shatter, Da Ming grew increasingly excited, as though victory were within reach!

Chapter 605: Rebellion, Part Seven
In stark contrast to the exhilarated Da Ming, Ye Wen remained remarkably calm as he maintained his precarious defense.
"It's about time," Ye Wen thought, internally assessing the situation. A good performance had to be convincing. His portrayal suggested a powerful but newly established god position, still fledgling compared to absolute power. Being able to hold his own against a God Official at Da Ming's level was already impressive.
Now, it was time for a hero to step in.
The earth trembled a noticeable, distinct vibration that even Da Ming could sense despite his relentless assault. As one of Ye Wen's predetermined "rescue points," Da Ming's expression darkened as he realized what was happening.
The inheritor of the Earth Elemental God's legacy Xiao Xiao had arrived!
"Earth Elemental Mystery: Geomagnetic Reversal!"
A commanding voice echoed through the battlefield, and before Da Ming could react, a powerful gravitational force anchored him to the ground, rendering him immobile.
To ordinary soul masters, Earth element soul masters seemed primarily defensive, with attacks limited to launching stones. However, advanced soul masters knew that certain Earth element soul beasts wielded a far greater power the true might of the earth.
Gravity.
A multifaceted power, gravity could be an offensive force, increasing the speed and power of thrown rocks; a control method, amplifying gravity to restrict an opponent's movements; or a speed boost, reducing one's own weight to move more freely. When fully mastered, this power could even reshape the environment.
The ground came alive, surrounding Da Ming from all directions like a flower closing its petals. His face twisted as he attempted to use his godly power to break free from the hold. He knew this technique all too well, as his brother Er Ming often used it. But the strength behind Xiao Xiao's technique far surpassed his brother's.
Da Ming now regretted his choices. Naturally, his actions weren't random; he had carefully selected his targets. Among Ye Wen's six disciples in the Tianxing Knights, Jiang Nannan and the relatively inconspicuous Xiao Xiao were his best options.
Aware of Xiao Xiao's status as the Earth God's chosen successor, Da Ming had even consulted Tang San before proceeding. The universe around the Douluo God Realm was barren and peaceful, so Tang San, even as a God King, had limited experience against other gods.
Confident as the holder of the highest first rank god position, Tang San dismissed other first rank gods who clustered together for support. As for inheritors, he cared even less; he had faced the Sea God's own successor and killed him. A mere Earth God's legacy? Nothing more than a triviality.
Yet reality now dealt Tang San a harsh blow. After all, no god was weak; each had a hidden trump card. Just as the Sea God possessed his Sea God's Thirteen Styles, each god had their own ultimate move.
As the inheritor of the Earth Elemental God, Xiao Xiao had naturally gained insight into the essence of earth. The Earth Elemental Mystery was the ultimate skill bestowed upon her by the Earth God.
The Earth Elemental Mystery: Geomagnetic Reversal condensed the power of the earth, concentrating gravity on a single point. It was the ultimate binding god skill and the ultimate sealing god skill.
Xiao Xiao had already moved Jiang Nannan out of the combat zone, leaving only Da Ming and his two HaoTian Sect comrades behind. The Second Elder and the other Titled Douluo had long since succumbed to the immense gravitational force, their faces twisted in agony.
The ground closed overhead, burying the two Titled Douluos wielding the HaoTian Hammers. Da Ming tried to counter the gravity with his Time Dilation Domain but found it useless.
It wasn't that Da Ming's domain couldn't affect the molecular motion around him it was that Xiao Xiao had reached the same peak level, 109, as he had.
"How could this be? I can understand Ye Wen, but how has this young disciple managed to reach such heights in so little time?" Da Ming was utterly shaken.
His advantage had vanished entirely.
In the Douluo God Realm, the seven Elemental Gods watched Tang San with mocking expressions. While there was no personal grudge, Tang San's interference with their chosen successors' path to divinity was enough to spark animosity. Though gods in the Douluo God Realm were forbidden from killing one another, this restriction did not apply to mortals.
For both mortals and gods alike, removing obstacles in their path was always satisfying.
Tang San's expression was grim. The Tianxing Federation already far surpassed the HaoTian Sect in strength, and if his main asset, Da Ming, were to fall now, his entire strategy would crumble.
But at that moment, Tang San found himself unable to intervene directly; all he could do was pray that his top fighter had some good luck and wouldn't actually die here.
As for the other HaoTian Sect disciples, the Second Elder had been somewhat useful initially. But with four word battle armor now commonplace, even he was no longer essential.
Da Ming felt as though the very air around him had thickened, like he was submerged in a dense liquid. He wanted to fly away, but his attempts to escape were futile. Despair began to consume him.
He had located Xiao Xiao's position, yet he couldn't reach her to break her control and escape. Before the fight, Da Ming had been confident in his sensory abilities. He had planned to end the battle with Jiang Nannan quickly, and even if Xiao Xiao approached, he would kill her as soon as she was in range.
But plans often go awry. Da Ming hadn't anticipated Jiang Nannan's hidden god level powers, which disrupted his perception, preventing him from noticing Xiao Xiao's approach.
Sensing the intensity of the battle and recalling Ye Wen's teachings, Xiao Xiao had learned caution. Rather than enter the fight head on, she used the power granted by her god position to blend into the earth, quietly setting her trap.
A thousand miles underground, Xiao Xiao's expression was ruthless.
"How dare you touch my… How dare you harm my best friend? You've signed your own death warrant!"
The Earth Elemental Mystery accompanying the Earth God's legacy was powerful but not suited for direct attacks. The seven Elemental Gods worked in harmony, making them a virtually flawless team. Thus, the primary abilities of the Earth Elemental Mystery were control and binding, lacking a definitive killing move.
For Xiao Xiao, however, it was more than enough. Her priority now was to trap Da Ming, then
