Dear readers,
Anubis here. I want to share something that's been bothering me for a while regarding the translation of [FD].
After recently translating chapter 395, I was genuinely disgusted by the direction the story took. Up to this point, the protagonist has been collecting women like Pokémon, which I tolerated as long as he treated them with some basic decency. Unfortunately, things have taken a nosedive.
He's now secretly sleeping with a new woman, all while actively lying to the others—some of whom are openly hostile toward this new character. It's not just bad character writing anymore, it's outright disrespectful, manipulative behavior being portrayed without consequence or depth. That completely killed any motivation I had to continue working on this project.
So, after careful thought and due to the significant decline in the quality of the raw material, I have decided to drop the translation of [FD]. This wasn't a decision I made lightly, but I stand by it. I want to focus only on novels that I genuinely enjoy and feel proud to bring to you.
That said, I'm leaving a small door open: I have made a public poll on my Patreon (@AnubisTL), so please head over and vote if you want me to continue translating it. I'll consider picking it back up. Otherwise, this is where it ends.
