Chapter 388 - Chapter 387: Questioning The 7 Days to Die World’s Will

Ryuji opened his system interface and began checking on the status of his harem members.

Esdeath had no issues. In her avatar, she was in the middle of a frenzied slaughter. Ryuji felt it wasn't a big problem, it's a bit bloody, but completely in character for Esdeath.

Asuna, on the other hand, was at home being questioned by her mother, and judging by the surroundings, it looked like a hospital…

Ryuji felt a bit guilty. Asuna had been completely filled at that time. If the female doctor did an examination, it wouldn't take long for his future in-laws to realize their daughter had already been stuffed full by him like a cream puff.

Yeah… it'll be a little awkward when I go to visit later.

After that, his gaze shifted to Celestine. He discovered that the woman's avatar was smiling directly at him. When she noticed him looking, she even stuck out her tongue. Then, the avatars of Alicia, Olga, and others froze and a line of text appeared above their heads:

"Time stopped. Waiting for you to come back!"

Ryuji: "..."

So what if you're a creator god?!

Like hell it matters, don't you still call me daddy in bed?!

Ryuji silently looked away. After all, Origami wasn't part of his harem, so he thought it was over.

But...

He suddenly noticed a black-haired figure in what looked like a workshop. And the name displayed was 'Charlotte'.

"Charlotte? Damn it, this woman used a fake name to trick me!"

Ryuji instantly realized the truth. He stared speechlessly at 'Charlotte's' avatar, then tried clicking the 'travel' option.

[Do you want to travel to the Infinite Stratos world? Cost: 100 energy points.]

Infinite Stratos…

The corner of Ryuji's mouth twitched violently.

No wonder 'Charlotte' and 'Jessica'(Revy) had always felt a little off.

So, they were teammates.

Looking at 'Charlotte,' who appeared serious and composed while undergoing what looked like an examination under a pink-haired woman with bunny ears, Ryuji couldn't help but complain aloud:

"What the hell is wrong with you?!"

He roughly guessed her real identity: Chifuyu Orimura, the older sister of the freeloading male protagonist Ichika Orimura. Among the entire main cast, she was the only one mature and strong enough to fight Esdeath to a standstill when Esdeath wasn't serious.

After all, in the original work, this was the woman who could dismantle IS armor bare-handed using IS weaponry without even wearing an IS herself.

Sure, part of that was because she was the originator and first-generation master of IS technology, but her physical ability and overall combat capability were unquestionably far beyond those of ordinary people.

"Seriously… if you'd just told me your real name, I wouldn't have touched you at all…"

Ryuji felt completely drained complaining about it. If she had simply revealed her identity and background, he never would have semi-forced her into bed.

After all, he genuinely thought she was a native of that world.

But now that he thought about it, the tight outfit she wore, which looked similar to a school swimsuit, was probably an IS pilot suit.

The reason he hadn't realized earlier was simple: that world had magic. With magic, even stockings existed, so a school swimsuit really wasn't anything strange.

"No, she was probably worried about teammates killing each other for the rewards. After all, I'm mostly here to enjoy the scenery, but for others, these things are huge boosts to their strength."

Ryuji looked at the items he had obtained from his three missions and understood Chifuyu's way of thinking.

These three items weren't very useful to him. At best, they served as support tools. One of them, in particular, was extremely powerful but also kind of ridiculous, yet if you put aside your pride, it was actually a terrifyingly effective item.

Because this thing didn't specify that the milk had to come from humans.

The simplest use would be cow's milk. Store massive amounts of milk inside this practically infinite-capacity bracelet, then when facing an enemy, just summon it and flood them.

Or you could consume energy and fire it out as a high-pressure water cannon. The possible applications were endless.

It was only because Ryuji already had water manipulation abilities that he didn't really need it. At most, he'd store some milk inside and extract water from it later, making it easier to use water manipulation in places without a natural water source.

In the end, it was simply because his base attributes were too high and comprehensive that these items seem rather useless to him.

Chifuyu might not have known she'd be giving out such powerful items, but that didn't stop her from taking precautions. Ryuji didn't believe that someone capable of overturning the world alongside a mad scientist could possibly be an idiot.

"Seriously, there are so many outstanding women."

Ryuji shook his head and glanced at the room, which had been thoroughly washed by the goddess's milk and now continuously emitted a sacred aura mixed with the scent of milk. He honestly found it a little hard to hold himself back.

The Miyano sisters didn't feel anything strange about the smell. To them, it simply felt like returning to their mother's embrace, warm and comforting, so they slept very soundly. Ryuji, however, couldn't help but imagine scenes of himself fucking the goddess from behind and milking her.

"So, should I take a break? Or maybe go back to the Food Wars world?"

Ryuji looked at the bracelet in his hand. Although he had wasted a huge amount of milk earlier, there was still plenty of goddess milk stored inside, and even Roxanne's as well. It was obvious that the goddess had prepared this gift long in advance.

But when he thought of Food Wars, he immediately remembered something he had been troubled by earlier.

"Hey, 7 Days to Die. How exactly do you choose my teammates? Is it that after they complete one mission, if they don't want to participate anymore, they don't have to?"

Although the 7 Days to Die world will hid many things from him, Ryuji felt this matter shouldn't be hidden if he asked.

"Respected Lord Ryuji, that is correct. And the people I'm summoning now are those who originally did not make it into my body back then. If they don't participate in at least one mission, they'll end up stranded at the location where I originally existed. So, no matter what, they must enter a mission at least once. Otherwise, the lucky ones may land in other worlds, while the unlucky ones will drift forever."

Ryuji nodded. Regardless of the reason, this at least counted as an explanation.

"So with such a crude way of forcibly pulling people in, do you really think you can find someone to save you? And how do you explain Origami Tobiichi? I don't think she has any intention of participating in missions."

Ryuji hadn't interacted much with Origami, but it was obvious that she tried her best to avoid getting entangled with him and showed no interest in traveling between worlds like Esdeath did.

"Her situation is rather special. I have communicated with her world's will, so I cannot tell you the details. But please rest assured, as long as you do not force her to do anything or kill her, she won't be a threat to you. And please don't worry: as long as she resists my summons before the next mission begins, she will not be summoned again. However, if she wishes to continue participating in my missions, she may do so."

Ryuji couldn't hold it in anymore and complained aloud.

"That just sounds like a conspiracy."

"From a human perspective, it does appear that way. And since you mentioned that my methods are rather crude, I will work to improve them. However, when facing extinction, I must search for every possible option. If you or any of the other chosen ones were willing to merge with me and become the lord of the world, then I would no longer need to resort to such forceful methods."

Ryuji scoffed at 7 Days to Die's explanation and increasingly felt that the mystery surrounding the 7 Days to Die world's will was diminishing, losing its imposing aura.

That said, Ryuji didn't know whether this was act put on by the 7 Days to Die world to appease him.

After all, that sow-goddess earlier hadn't even demonstrated the power of a world lord, yet she had still completely overwhelmed him.

Being a sow does not necessarily mean she is not strong.

That, however, didn't stop him from criticizing it.

"It's because your methods are flawed that no one is willing to become the lord of your world."
