Chapter : 1 : A New World And Start Of A New Journey :
Location : Kento Region: Celadon City :
In prosperous and lively Celadon city it was a normal sunny day where people going to their respective jobs as some greeted each other and while some rush pass in a hurry .
Early in the morning the store owners are opening their gates for the customers to come where as children's are playing about early in the morning while being hurried back by there parents to go to school .
All this people living there life ordinarily did not know that among the countless unknown faces of their city there was a boy who was about to start his Pokemon journey.
And this boy in future will become the greatest pride of their City.
Location : Main Character's House :
At a quiet corner of the city there was a modest house for a small family .
This house although not quite fancy was a comfortable home that included a small garden of flowers that anyone could tell was well maintained .
At this moment inside the house however there was only one person living .
This was a young man with brown hair and light blue eyes with a purple hint coupled with a relatively hansome and cute face made him stand out in a crowd of people .
Just one look at him anyone can tell that the boy certainly did train his body something rare to see in a boy of this age .
This young handsome boy was non other than the main character of this fanfiction itself - David Roy .
But he was not just another character in the Pokemon world as he held a secret that no one knew .
And yes for most of you who have guessed it correctly - David is also a reincarnated man from a planet called earth .
And as for how did it happen....
Allow me to explain the situation from a little further - little flashback if you might .
So what happened was that on a rainy day in a planet called earth as there was a boy who was desperate enough to go to the library because his exams were coming .
It was during that time he met none other than the myth and the legend itself...
If you are thinking it's truck kun .... Then you are wrong .
The real answer is a half an hour long traffic jam .
After that he went to the library and after a long and devastating study session where he had already predicted his results of incoming exams he went back to his house .
There after having dinner he finally went to his bed to sleep.
However the moment he opened his eyes he found himself in an entirely different room all together .
The furniture was different .... the posters in the room were different .
But more importantly when he checked himself in the mirror he found that let alone the room his entire body seemed different .
His new body was that of a 12 year old boy that he did not recognise .
One can only imagine the sudden surge of emotions he felt at that moment .
Which got even worse the moment he discovered that not only was he in a different room and a different body that he did not remember .... but he was also in a freaking entirely different world all together .
And this was the moment that perhaps he felt the most fear in his life .
Although even then he didn't cry....
( Author's Thoughts : Hmph ! As if anyone would believe that . )
At first he did not know what to do or where he was exactly .
It was in his panic state that he suddenly felt a sudden rush of memories that left him in a severe headache .
A few minutes after the headache cleared away bringing him a much clearer view of his situation .
The first thing he learn was that his name in this world was David Roy .
His parents in this world were actually ordinary workers with his mother working as a local teacher and his father being a local blacksmith .
But from the memories he got it seemed despite not being from a wealthy family there was a genuine love within the family.
This realisation brought a sense of relief to him because of some bad memories of his past life .
The second most important thing that he learn was the Identity of the world he was in .
And to his surprise he was actually well aware of this world from a frictional show and other game series he played in his previous life .
This was the Pokemon world .
This realisation brought him both excitement and caution .
The reason why he was excited so much was because the Pokemon series had left a permanent mark on his heart and mind in his previous life.
As a small boy who grew up watching the journey of Ash ketchum on his TV - from him meeting with Pikachu , Misty , Brock , etc to his journey throughout Kento to Alola and beyond it .
It can be said that a huge part of his memory was shaped by this experience .
He could be vividly remember just how much he himself wanted a group pokemons for himself and how disappointed he was as a child to learn that they were frictional characters .
But now it was no longer fantasy ... a work of friction....
No ! it was the new reality for him .
And now he had the chance to do what he always dreamt off.
However while excitement was there there was also a caution and fear .
After all watching a frictional world through television is far different when it actually becomes a new reality.
The world of Pokemon might not be exactly the same as he rememberd from his past life .
And he was quite sure of it .
After all for a world as vast as ' The Pokemon ' world there was no way that every small but important details of the world can be shown in the TV series or games for various reasons.
And that means variables... variables that he might not know .
And such variables can be dengerous .
But after going through all of it in his head David quickly came to the conclusion that thinking too much about it was pretty useless after all there was nothing he could do about his situation anymore .
But what he can do now is to prepare for the journey that he had waited for all his life .
This brings us to the present as almost 2 years have passed since then and now it was time for him to start his journey .
" Alright just one more check and I can finally say that I am ready for my journey . " - David said as he looked at the prepared backpack in front of him .
To be honest he didn't understand why he had to pack his bag so early when he would be leaving 2 days later .
While the packing your bag for a long journey like a Pokemon journey would need time and careful consideration but it can be done in one day before living for the journey .
At least that's what he thought .
His mom however disagreed with this notion and clearly emphasized that most young trainers made the same mistake .
According to her those who pack their bag only before leaving for the journey would often forget to take multiple small yet important things and then scramble around to gind them .
Although he felt that his mother was over reacting a little he still decided to follow her guidance .
In fact his mother had already given him a list of things to take and not to take .
And to say that the list was detailed would be and underestimation .
It contained almost everything that one would need in a long pokemon journey - from multiple sets of clothes to specific foods that had long expiry dates .
The things in the list included other things like compass maps camera torches , etc .
This things were divided in such a manner that you would not feel at a total loss even if you were to get stuck or lost in a Jungle at least for a few days .
And professionally enough the things were selected in a manner that it would not become too heavy for him to carry .
Honestly David was surprised that his mother was so well informed about the needs in a Pokemon journey .
It was only then that he learned that both of his parents were actually Pokemon trainers themselves in their younger days .
This was a surprise to him as he had no memory of them telling him about it .
Infact both of them never talked too much about their past and David never asked them about it .
However when he asked - ' mom why didn't you tell me about it's sooner . '
It was then that she told him that while they were in their Pokemon journey they also dreamed of one day becoming the champion of the Kento league and then possibly move on to other league battles .
However due to their poor talents they were not able to qualify for the kento league for many times .
And when they finally did enter the tournament they got eliminated in early matches .
So after trying many times they final decided to stop and return to their home city .
And since they were already in love they decided to get married and settle down .
So while they left their Pokemon journey behind that experience still took place in their heart .
And she even confessed that at first they were actually reluctant to let David go in the same path of Pokemon journeys .
However after seeing the determination and love in their boys eyes they finally decided to support him in his adventure by giving him whatever support they could .
And this included the lessons they learned from their own failures .
When David learned of the entre story he could not help but feel an intense emotion in his heart .
His parents truly loved him .
He couldn't help but wonder - ' perhaps this was what a true loving family is about '.
Now he had more than one reason to go on his journey .
" Alright ! it's settled then now I have a dream in my heart and soul it's time to make it a reality . "
As he said that he looked at the Pokemon ball in his hands in determination .
" I will become the Pokemon master !!!! "
