As Adrian walked through the Scorched Plains, lost in his thoughts. As he walked, he didn't notice that he was being watched by a pair of red eyes hiding somewhere ahead of him.
By now, he had walked quite a distance, and he was alone in the region he was in. When he first appeared in the mystic realm, there weren't many individuals whom were around the area he was sent.
It is unknown whether it was by design or by random, but the mystic realm doesn't just send everyone to the same place.
While everyone first appears on the Scorched Plains, the mystic realm distributes them around, spreading them out across the entire mystic realm.
This is especially great for those with a lot of enemies. At least they wouldn't be immediately ambushed as soon as they enter the mystic realm.
When Adrian and his former team entered, the only ones around them were teams of similar numbers, the least threatening groups among those entering the mystic realm.
