"Babe, do you want this or this one?" standing by the bathroom door, Kevin asked as he held two dresses in his hands, his gaze fixated on the young woman standing beneath the shower, water cascading down her body.
Sia turned her gaze towards Kevin and narrowed her eyes as she scrutinized the two dresses in his hands. After some deliberation, a choice was made.
"Let's go with the red one!" she responded, turning her head back and continued to rub her body, focusing on showering.
Kevin smiled dotingly as he watched her for a moment longer before leaving the bathroom, put the dresses on the bed before entering the living room where Ruth was seated, enjoying a packet of snacks, with the TV show ongoing.
"Which one did she pick?" without looking at him, Ruth asked.
"The red one," he answered as he plopped himself next to her.
Ruth turned her head to look at her brother with narrowed eyes which made him slightly nervous, wondering what else he did to make her look at him like that.
