--- Chapter 344 ---
Di Tian was disturbed. It was one thing that Han Yuan could break his control over the Law of Darkness and Space, but using Life-Lightning Laws to strengthen existing elements into the Ultimate Realm is a different matter.
No matter how Di Tian racks his brain about it, he couldn't see through the process behind this elemental ascension. He could only see the surface level of it and not the whole operation, even with his ancient wisdom.
Deep down, Di Tian hates to admit this; even the Dragon God couldn't do something like this.
Although Dragon God could wield various elements and fuse them, there is no record of him transforming one into another as Han Yuan did.
"Are you going to continue?" asked Han Yuan calmly.
Di Tian's veins popped as he glared at Han Yuan coldly, "Hmph, mere tricks!"
Even though Han Yuan's unconventional power surprised Di Tian a little, he hadn't been defeated by him yet. What Di Tian suffered is merely a scratch, and this fight is just going to become more intense.
Di Tian knew his Dark Dragon Sword had become ineffective against Han Yuan, who possessed the ability to harness Ultimate Light and a strange power that could break the laws of the universe.
So, Di Tian decided to use his trump card. A mighty divine dragon's might descended upon the world, and the sheer pressure it exudes causes the space to twist.
Han Yuan raised his eyebrow, 'Is he finally going to use that?'
Han Yuan could feel the change in the space, watching as a portal appeared and shot out a gigantic golden dragon claw shrouded with misty rainbow light at him.
"Witness the majesty of Dragon God..." Di Tian said in a low tone.
"Dragon God's Claw!"
Han Yuan felt an elemental storm brushing his face. He wanted to use the [Atomic Dismantling - Break Down] to break this, but discovered the laws of the universe within Di Tian's attack are several times higher than before, truly touching upon the secret of divinities.
This attack inherited not only Dragon God's tyrannical physical strength, but also his elemental prowess beyond the 1st Class God Realm.
Of course, Di Tian lacked the cultivation to unleash such an attack. Yet, it was more than enough.
This aura that can dominate all spirit beasts.
This sheer strength.
This sheer elemental force.
They are enough to defeat anyone beneath the God realm.
Unfortunately, Han Yuan wasn't just anyone. He calmly tossed his spear away and then shook his right hand, causing a Fallen Dragon's Right Protector - External Shield Spirit Bone to appear.
"Twilight Shield."
"Come!" Han Yuan's silver eyes glimmered as he took Di Tian's attack with all his might.
BANG! CLANK!
Di Tian's eyes widened when he sensed a familiar aura from Han Yuan's external spirit bone. Not only that, but he also watched the Dragon God's Claw he launched get weakened by this very shield, as most of its impact got absorbed.
Then, under Di Tian's shocked gaze, Han Yuan appeared right before his eyes and slammed the shield at his chest.
Everything happened too quickly, and before Di Tian knew it, he was receiving his own attack.
"Fallen Dragon's Reflection!" Han Yuan's voice sounded softer and more familiar to Di Tian, as the whole world lost its color.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM!
A massive burst of energy hit Di Tian's chest, sending him flying across the Star Dou Forest and even reaching the shore thousands of miles away before stopping at a cliff, embedded deep inside.
"Are you okay?" asked Di Yating worriedly. She knew how destructive the Dragon God's Claw could be, and for Han Yuan to endure the force with physical strength, even if the Twilight Shield mitigated most of it, was still challenging.
Han Yuan lowered the Twilight Shield, and his right hand trembled slightly because the force behind the Dragon God's Claw wasn't purely elemental, though most of it got absorbed by the shield; he still had to bear the shock Di Tian inflicted on himself.
Fortunately, Han Yuan's physique is 'considerably' strong after relentless body refinement. The system dubbing him Body Refining Maniac talent wasn't for nothing.
"I am okay..." Han Yuan replied calmly while huffing for fresh air, feeling the extreme vitality and bioelectricity in his body raging to repair the damage the Dragon God's Claw had inflicted.
Han Yuan's entire right side is pretty much crippled, but it will recover soon. He estimated ten seconds should be enough for him to be in peak condition again.
Crack!
Han Yuan saw a web-like crack appear in his external right hand's bone and clicked his tongue in amazement, "It's actually damaged."
"As expected of an artifact bestowed by the Dragon God."
"Even your spirit bone couldn't resist much, Yating."
Upon hearing Han Yuan's careless comment, Di Yating couldn't help but roll her beautiful eyes. "Of course, my spirit bone can't handle the Dragon God's Claw; one is a 700,000-year-old spirit bone, and the other is a divine tool!"
"Tch, if you kept using it to defend yourself against the Dragon God's Claw, I reckon it would be broken in one, no, two more attacks."
Han Yuan shook his head gently, "I didn't plan to use Right Hand's Protection again."
"I only wanted to see how much it fares against Dragon God's Claw."
"I still have other methods to fight against it."
"Well, enough about me, shouldn't you be worried about Di Tian?" Han Yuan asked back.
Di Yating snorted in annoyance, "Hmph, that dumb fuck is thick-skinned enough! He could endure a beating or two..."
"At most, he would rest in bed for a couple of months."
"But if you're injured, as your Contracted Spirit Soul, my cultivation speed will be slower."
"..." Han Yuan felt there was nothing wrong with Di Yating's words, but he felt something was off.
'Don't tell me Yating was concerned about me? Damn, I really stole Di Tian's sister under his nose, huh?'
On the other hand, Di Tian was questioning his reality.
He lay in a hole in the cliff while sunlight hit his face, as if the Dragon God's Claw getting reflected at him was just a dream.
Yet, he knew he wasn't dreaming. His chest is churning in pain as a fresh gush of blood comes out.
The pain is real.
He, Di Tian, was actually bleeding.
How long has it been since someone made him bleed?
As far as Di Tian remembered, only Xiong Jun, who had pushed his claws to the limit, ever injured him. However, that's because he lowered his guard for a bit.
Humans never injured Di Tian.
Han Yuan is the first to do so.
Di Tian felt complex. Anger, shock, disbelief, solemnity, and acceptance flashed on his face.
He finally sighed and stood up, willed the dragon's blood in his body to recover before teleporting back to the Star Dou Forest.
He appeared before Han Yuan again, still wielding the Dragon God's Claw in his hand.
Han Yuan stared at Di Tian and flashed a faint smile, "Should we continue to prove that I am qualified?"
"You are qualified." Di Tian responded calmly.
"However, I am not the type of person who takes losses easily, so let's continue!"
"Let's fight until one of us wins..."
"..." Han Yuan was speechless.
He sighed, "Alright."
At first, Han Yuan planned to use Howling Dragon Arms that he borrowed from Beta. But it seemed the Divine Artifact wouldn't have a chance to shine for now.
Han Yuan and Di Tian stared at each other before shouting, "Fight!"
.
.
.
A few days passed, and Han Yuan sat on the ground with grave wounds all over his body.
He chuckled before closing his eyes to focus on his recovery, "Hehe... Good fight, Di Tian."
On the other side, Di Tian was leaning on a tree, bloody and breathing heavily, as Bi Ji tried her best to heal him.
Even then, despite all the grave injuries he suffered, the Beast God's golden eyes are still shining as he shared a chuckle, "Hahaha, what a monstrous brat."
"I almost lost..."
"But... It was a good fight..."
