The morning sun rose over Whiskey Peak, casting long, dramatic shadows across the cactus-dotted landscape. For Princess Vivi, the night had been a transformative experience. Clutching the copy of The Legend of the Gunnhildr Clan, she felt as though she had finally found a map to a treasure far more valuable than gold or rain—she had found a blueprint for a people's soul.

Beside her, Ye Ruo was calmly packing the last of the [Wind and Bird] stall's inventory into a series of compact, magically reinforced crates. Noelle stood nearby, her greatsword sheathed but her eyes scanning the horizon. The remnants of the Baroque Works ambush—the craters left by Mr. 5 and the cracked earth from Miss Valentine's impact—were the only signs of the previous night's struggle.

"Senior, the Log Pose has set," Noelle reported, checking the device on her wrist. "But if we are to reach Alabasta quickly, the standard sea route may be too slow. The Baroque Works agents will surely report back to their 'Mr. 0' about our interference."

Ye Ruo straightened his vest and looked at Vivi, who was still staring at the vial of Mondstadt Spring Water. "A novelist never follows the standard route, Noelle. We follow the flow of the narrative. Princess, how much longer can your people hold out?"

Vivi looked up, her expression hardening with a new resolve. "The rebellion is gathering in Katorea. My father is doing everything he can, but the drought has driven the people to madness. If we don't return within the week, the blood will start flowing, and there will be no turning back."

"A week," Ye Ruo mused, tapping his chin. "In this world's logic, that's a tight deadline. But in the world of the Wind Knight, it's a lifetime. We won't be taking a boat. We'll be taking the express line."

To Vivi's utter shock, Ye Ruo didn't lead them toward the docks. Instead, he led them to the highest peak overlooking the town. As they reached the summit, he raised his hand, and the air around them began to vibrate with an intense, teal hum.

"Face the wind," Ye Ruo whispered.

Suddenly, a massive current of air swirled around the three of them, forming a translucent, aerodynamic sphere. Before Vivi could scream, they were lifted off the ground, soaring into the sky at a speed that defied the laws of physics. Below them, Whiskey Peak shrank into a tiny speck on a vast blue ocean.

"This... this isn't the power of a ship!" Vivi cried out, her hair whipping in the controlled gale. "Is this a Devil Fruit?"

"It's the power of freedom, Princess," Ye Ruo replied, his eyes glowing with the resonance of the Wind-Wind Fruit and his Anemo Vision. "And a bit of specialized training. In my home, we call this 'gliding,' though we've added a few modifications for multiversal travel."

The journey that would have taken days by sea was completed in hours. They crossed the vast stretches of the Sandy Island's coast, passing over the desolate, sun-bleached dunes until the distant, shimmering towers of Alubarna appeared on the horizon like a mirage.

They landed softly in a secluded oasis just outside the capital. The water in the pool was low, the edges crusted with salt, and the palm trees were drooping under the relentless heat.

Ye Ruo immediately opened his system interface.

"The drought isn't just a lack of water, Vivi," Ye Ruo said, walking toward the center of the oasis. "It's a lack of truth. Crocodile hasn't just stolen your rain; he's stolen your hope. He's made you believe that the sky is empty."

He turned to Noelle. "Set up the 'Gale-Force Lyre' at the highest point in the capital tonight. We aren't just selling books this time. We're broadcasting a revolution."

As Vivi hurried toward the palace to warn her father, she was intercepted by a tall, elegant woman with dark hair and a mysterious aura. Nico Robin, known as Miss All Sunday, stepped out from behind a sun-baked pillar.

"You've returned sooner than expected, Princess," Robin said, her tone unreadable. "And you've brought... interesting company. A man who flies without wings and a maid who carries the weight of a mountain. Mr. 0 will be very curious about your new friends."

Ye Ruo stepped forward, standing between Vivi and the archaeologist. He didn't draw a weapon. Instead, he pulled out a small, charred scrap of paper—a fragment of the Seed of the World Tree's bark, inscribed with ancient Teyvat script.

"Nico Robin," Ye Ruo said, his voice calm. "You spend your life searching for the 'Void Century,' hoping to find a history that wasn't written by the winners. But what if I told you that history isn't just in the stones? What if it's in the wind?"

Robin's eyes widened, her stoic mask finally slipping. She looked at the script on the bark, a language that was neither the Poneglyphs nor any known dialect of the Grand Line, yet it hummed with a primal, historical power.

"What is that?" she whispered.

"It's a story from a world where the 'Will' of the people was enough to change the stars," Ye Ruo replied. "Stay your hand, Miss All Sunday. Crocodile is a man of the sand, but I am the man who writes the storm. You might find my ending far more satisfying than his."

As Robin retreated into the shadows, seemingly lost in thought, the Multiversal Scripting Engine signaled another massive gain.

Ye Ruo looked at the golden flute that materialized in his hand. He looked up at the cloudless, oppressive sky of Alabasta.

"Noelle, tell the Princess to prepare the city," Ye Ruo said, a sharp, teal light igniting in his eyes. "Tonight, we publish the final volume of the Alabasta arc. And the title is: The Day the Wind Brought the Sea to the Desert."

The Wind Knight stood at the center of the dying oasis, and for the first time in three years, a cool, moist breeze began to swirl through the streets of Alubarna. The sand was about to meet its master.
