I thought about it for a moment.
In reality, I hadn't thought about what to do on Christmas, but even so, it was clear that we would spend the day with family—that is, me and all my girls, with the exception of Kari, who probably couldn't attend for obvious reasons, and Haruna for exactly the same reasons. But if it was to help a friend… maybe I could sacrifice lunch, but I definitely wouldn't give up dinner. That was a flat no, no matter who it was.
"Alright, I'll go with you, but only for lunch. Then I'll go back to spend Christmas Eve with my girls," I said while taking a sip of the delicious tea.
"That's enough for me!" Haruka nodded.
Lunch would be sufficient. Besides, it was obvious that Christmas should be spent with family, so it was understandable that Akira wanted to spend it with his girls. In fact, if she had the chance, she would also spend it with her family.
"What will you do after that?" I asked curiously.
"What do you mean?" Haruka asked, not understanding.
"I mean, what will you do after lunch? Will you go to Tokyo to see your family and celebrate Christmas together?" I asked curiously.
The truth is I didn't know anything about her family. Of course we weren't close enough for her to tell me something like that.
"My family… no, I'll spend Christmas in Sainan. I'll watch a movie, maybe eat some seafood, anyway, I'll spend it alone," Haruka sighed.
Her family situation… was complicated. Although she was rich and lacked nothing, she had as much wealth as she had loneliness. Her parents showered her with anything she wanted, no matter what it was—a smartphone, a PC, a tablet. As long as she wanted it, it would be hers instantly. But the same couldn't be said about affection. Money doesn't grow on trees, and that's a fact even for the richest families. Haruka's parents were very successful businessmen in their respective fields, but in exchange they were very busy—so busy that they barely came home. Haruka even believed they slept at the office because she barely saw them even at night.
Because of their absence, she didn't want to go back to Tokyo and spend Christmas there. She preferred to stay here and spend the time doing what she wanted, without any restrictions. After all, she was going to be alone on Christmas Day, so spending it here or there made no difference. The only thing was that here she would have more privacy and freedom.
Seeing Haruka's somber expression, I assumed I had touched a sensitive point. Maybe she simply didn't get along well with her family. It's something quite common, especially in people with a lot of money.
"Mmm, if you don't have any plans… why don't you spend Christmas with us?" I said.
Don't judge poor Akira. His kind personality prevents him from overlooking this situation, especially when it concerns a friend of his. Although you shouldn't misinterpret his good intentions either, because Akira didn't do this for just anyone—only for those he at least considered friends.
"Are you serious?" Haruka asked, surprised.
"Yes. Before I wouldn't have done it, but now that you've changed and we're friends… I don't see why I can't help a friend if she needs it," I nodded.
In the end I can't fight against my kind nature. It's simply something inherent in me that I can't change.
Haruka was surprised because she had never felt this kind of joy before. Previously not even her friend Souta had offered to spend Christmas with his family. However, Akira had offered it after knowing her for only a few weeks and after everything she had done to him before, which moved her.
Haruka couldn't believe everything she had experienced since arriving in Sainan. Yes, she had gone through bad moments, but she had also gone through many good moments. This city had achieved something Tokyo never had: it had changed her. No, it wasn't the city that changed her, but her friends—friends she had never had before. She felt supported and even loved (non-romantic love). All of that made her change, made her arrogant and superior personality soften, turning her into a decent person. In fact, Haruka began to think that this was truly her real personality, a personality that had remained hidden because in Tokyo she had never truly been happy, unlike in Sainan, where she had friends to smile with, to talk with, to share her sorrows and joys with. Maybe because of that, the Haruka who had remained dormant inside her, her true personality, thanks to this environment, the real Haruka had finally come out of her shell.
"Thank you so much, I accept with pleasure!" Haruka said with a smile.
She had to admit that she had completely misunderstood Akira from the beginning. Her treatment toward him a few weeks ago had no justification whatsoever, especially after the treatment she had received afterward. She had simply been a fool and only now could she see it clearly.
"I'm glad. Now if you don't mind, I'll continue waiting for Momo. I don't think she'll take much longer to come out," I said as I stood up.
"Of course. Do you need me to walk you to the door?" Haruka asked.
"Don't worry, there's no need," I said calmly.
After saying goodbye to Haruka, I simply left the house and continued waiting for Momo at the front door, which she still hadn't come out of.
"Seriously. How long can women take to get ready?" I sighed.
While Akira sighed and complained about Momo's delay, Haruka quickly lay down on the sofa and started watching her favorite series on Netflix, which had released a new episode yesterday that she had been looking forward to watching but couldn't until today because yesterday she had been having a good time with the girls.
Since she woke up this morning she hadn't felt like doing much, not even watching the series, but after Akira's confirmation that he would help her solve her problem with Souta, her mood changed radically and now she felt like doing things she didn't feel like doing before. Maybe she would watch the episode of her favorite series that premiered yesterday and then go with the girls, perhaps shopping and things like that. She was so happy that she even wanted to invite the girls to buy all the clothes they wanted to buy, as thanks for giving her a solution to her problem. Isn't that a lot of money? You have no idea how rich Haruka's family is. They are so rich that buying several brand-name clothing stores would be pocket change for them. That's how rich Haruka's family was, so definitely buying a few outfits was no problem. Besides, she would also make this a punishment for her parents who are always absent and never spend time with their daughter.
Despite her former arrogance, Haruka was not a girl resentful of the world, just a potential pervert, but that didn't mean she didn't long for the love and affection of her family—love and affection she had never had and that she had found here, in Sainan, thanks to the girls and Akira himself. That's right. Little by little, Haruka began to treat Sainan as her true home and not that empty mansion without family warmth or anyone to shower her with love.
…
Back to Akira.
After more than 30 minutes of waiting after leaving Haruka's house, Momo finally appeared wearing a very pretty dress.
"How do I look? Do you like it?" Momo said, doing a full turn on herself.
She wanted to show her beloved the dress she had taken so much trouble to choose.
Momo was wearing a cream-colored silk blouse with a boat neckline that left her shoulders completely exposed, accentuating the delicacy of her collarbone and the softness of her whitish skin. The sleeves were slightly puffed and ended in closed cuffs, giving her a sophisticated, almost ethereal air. The fabric was thin enough to suggest her curves without being explicit, something very typical of her calculated and coquettish style.
On the lower part, she wore a high-waisted skirt in a soft lavender tone that matched perfectly with her pink hair. The skirt was pleated, with an elegant fall that reached mid-thigh, allowing me to appreciate her well-shaped legs. The skirt's belt, with a silver heart-shaped buckle, marked her narrow waist, highlighting that hourglass figure that, despite her sometimes childish appearance, Momo was a young woman with an impressive look. Her long tail swayed behind her, moving from side to side, a sign of her happiness, although it could also be that she was waiting for the compliments she so longed for.
"Simply beautiful. There is no woman more beautiful than you right now," I said sincerely.
Being completely honest, every second I had waited during this last hour had been worth it. Momo was simply beautiful and she even had a bit of makeup, but not too much, just enough to highlight her beauty. Her lips were also slightly painted with what seemed to be cherry-colored lipstick, which gave her a seductive air, as if she were a succubus, something curious because succubi are very similar to Devilukians. Does it have something to do with that? Good question, but I'm not interested in knowing the answer, to be honest.
"Hehe, thank you very much," Momo said with a radiant smile.
Then she threw herself at me and grabbed my arm, intertwining it with hers and pressing her generous chest against Akira's arm.
Surprised but happy, Akira accepted this gesture with pleasure and both began to walk toward their destination.
"Where are we going today? I'm very curious. Nana told me she knew and I even tried to get it out of her, but I couldn't get anything out of her no matter how hard I tried, leaving me with great intrigue," Momo said.
So she tried to get Nana to spill my plan for today without success? Well, at least I know that Nana can keep secrets, even if she can be a blabbermouth on certain occasions.
At home, while Nana was watching her favorite series in underwear, she suddenly sneezed, startling Dita a bit who wasn't expecting the sneeze.
"Is something wrong?" Dita asked curiously.
"No, nothing. It must be someone talking badly about me. I just hope I don't find out who it is or they'll pay the consequences," Nana said.
"By the way, Mikan and Kari will come over in a while to eat. Shouldn't you get decent?" Dita asked.
Nana was currently lying on the sofa dressed only in her pink underwear, with nothing else on.
"I like walking around in underwear in my own house. It's comfortable and the only boy who sees me is my future husband. What's wrong with that?" Nana said, not giving it importance.
Then she looked fixedly at Dita and spoke again before she could say another word.
"Besides, look who's talking. Aren't you also in underwear?" Nana said.
Dita wasn't lying down, she was sitting on the sofa, only she was also wearing underwear. It was the only thing she had on.
"Ahem, I always sleep like this and I didn't have time to change," Dita said embarrassed.
But deep down she knew Nana was right. She was also in underwear. What right did she have to scold her for that?
"Anyway, let's enjoy a quiet morning in underwear. It's more comfortable and here we are all sisters. Besides, the only man who lives here is our future husband, who has already seen our bodies dozens of times, so him seeing us in underwear isn't such a big deal," Nana said.
Although she said this, Nana still blushed every time Akira saw her in underwear, not fully getting used to his sometimes lustful gazes, so she was being a bit hypocritical about it.
Hearing this, Dita concluded that Nana was right and continued watching her favorite series with Nana while the rest of the girls, also in underwear, got up from their beds and walked around the house in underwear, a sight that would have sent more than one man to the hospital for reasons we already know. A house full of beautiful girls walking around in underwear, some of them revealing and even fine lingerie? It was simply paradise, a paradise that any man would want to be in even if they had to sell organs for it! Unfortunately for them, only one man in this world—no, in this universe—could contemplate this image every day. If those supposed fictional men knew about that, they would die of envy. Yes, literally of envy. But luckily, there are no such men, otherwise they would be dead and buried. After all, the girls who lived in this house were not harmless, but powerful beings, some of them even capable of destroying planets and immune to bullets.
