Fu Zhu was thrilled, eager to verify his theory.
However, there was still one question. After he died, he would automatically respawn at his set spawn point, but this world also had an Underworld. Which of the two would take priority was still unknown.
To find that out, he had to die once.
Castorice was a bit stunned by Fu Zhu's words. Why would a perfectly fine person want to die? Was he sick?
The priestess grandmas had once told her that many people wanted to die because they were tormented by the pain of illness.
The thought that Fu Zhu might be gravely ill made Castorice tense up. She quickly placed the [Scythe of Death] on her lap and looked at him seriously.
"Big Brother, no matter what illness you have, don't give up! As long as you keep fighting, there will always be hope! I'll go talk to the priestess grandmas right now and have them take you to a doctor!"
Hearing Castorice's words, Fu Zhu didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He explained, "No, Big Brother isn't sick. I just have to die once to prove something."
This only made Castorice even more anxious.
"If Big Brother dies, there'll be nothing left!"

Fu Zhu picked Castorice up directly, drew his Yamato with his other hand to open a spatial rift, and the two of them stepped through it, returning to the church.
Back in his room, Fu Zhu put Castorice down and then spoke to her in a very serious tone.
"Castorice, listen to me. I can revive infinitely. And I need to verify something that is very important to me, so I must borrow your hand to die once!"
Although Fu Zhu spoke with great sincerity, Castorice was still hesitant. After a moment, however, she nodded in agreement.
The reason was simple. She believed Fu Zhu was a very powerful person. Besides, she had previously heard from the priestesses that there were people over in Castrum Kremnos who could revive infinitely. Perhaps her big brother was from Castrum Kremnos?

Castorice set the scythe aside, then cautiously reached her hand toward Fu Zhu. Fu Zhu also reached out and took her small hand.

Fu Zhu got off the bed with some regret, nodding slightly in response to Castorice.
He hadn't expected the priority of respawning at his bed to be so high. He didn't even get to spend a moment in the Underworld; one blink and he was back on his bed.
It seemed he couldn't get to the Underworld on his own. He would have to find another way, though he didn't have any leads at the moment.
Just then, Castorice suddenly spoke up.
"Big Brother, are you from Castrum Kremnos?"
"Hm?" Fu Zhu turned to her in confusion. "Why do you ask?"
Castorice stared at Fu Zhu and explained earnestly, "Because I heard the priestess grandmas say that in Castrum Kremnos there are people who can revive infinitely just like you, Big Brother. People in other places don't have that ability, so I guessed you might be from Castrum Kremnos."
There were locals who could revive infinitely?
In that case, couldn't he find that person who can revive, kill them once, let them go to the Underworld, record the coordinates, and after they revive and tell him, he could just use his Yamato to teleport directly there?
The moment Fu Zhu thought of this, his spirits lifted. He knew of Castrum Kremnos; that was where the Titan of [Strife] was located. He had originally planned to go there himself to take the [Strife] Coreflame if Cerydra failed to conquer Castrum Kremnos. But now it seemed that regardless of whether Cerydra could take the city or not, he would have to make a trip.

Fu Zhu glanced at his experience level. It was a bit too low.
He would have to face the Irontomb, Emanators like Celenova, and not to mention the Ender Dragon which was on par with an Aeon. Fu Zhu felt it was necessary for him to grind some experience.
"Time to fire up the Piglin farm."
Fu Zhu muttered to himself, then ruffled Castorice's small head.
"Big Brother isn't from Castrum Kremnos. Being able to revive is my own ability. Alright, Castorice, you go find the other kids to play with now. Remember to have fun."
Castorice nodded with a vague understanding, then happily picked up her [Scythe of Death] and left the room.
After sending Castorice off, Fu Zhu took out some obsidian from his backpack and began building a Nether Portal right where he stood. He then stepped through it.
What Fu Zhu didn't know was that the moment he completed the Nether Portal, in the ruins of the city-state called Styxia that the High Priest had once mentioned, countless spirits turned their heads in unison towards the direction of the portal.
The spirits didn't know what was there, only that an intense, primal desire compelled them to move in that direction.
Masses of spirits converged, forming a tidal wave that swept across the land toward the location of the Nether Portal.

Lygus was still dealing with the daytime problem with a massive headache. Before he could resolve it, the Scepter System suddenly blared with alarms again.

Startled, Lygus immediately stopped working on the daytime issue and turned to pull up the report on this unknown data.
