Chapter 393 - Chapter 391 - Creator God Equals Sky Father, Very Normal

The village chief was somewhat concerned as to why Oronyx would call the man before him "Sky Father."

Although Fu Zhu, wearing a mask, looked mysterious, there was nothing else particularly noteworthy about him.

In fact, he felt that if Fu Zhu were to remove the mask, he would just see him as a random passerby, not the Sky Father spoken of by a Titan.

Across from him, Fu Zhu was also deep in thought because of what the village chief had said.

My eyes are glowing with white light? Herobrine? Or is it me in Creative Mode?

Regardless, this was a good thing. If it was true, it meant that at some point in Amphoreus's "future," he would successfully unlock Creative Mode, which was equivalent to being invincible.

If it was false… well, it was fun to think about. Besides, he was already invincible anyway.

"Sir, do I need to prepare a place for you to stay?"

The village chief asked Fu Zhu very cautiously, still keeping his head down, not daring to meet his gaze.

The uncle standing behind him was seeing the chief this humbled for the first time. He was a bit surprised, but more than that, he was worried—worried that the chief couldn't handle this mysterious stranger.

Fu Zhu thought for a moment, then shook his head.

"No need, I can take care of it myself. Just give me an empty plot of land."

Now that he had escaped Lygus's surveillance, Fu Zhu planned to set up a base of operations and, more importantly, reset his respawn point to prevent falling into a trap Lygus had prepared in advance in case of an accidental death.

The village chief nodded and immediately turned to the uncle behind him. "Take our guest to the east side of the village. There's a vacant plot of land there."

"Yes, Chief."

The uncle hurried over to Fu Zhu's side, his tone much more respectful than before.

"Sir, please follow me."

Fu Zhu stood up and followed the uncle out of the chief's house.

After the two had left, the village chief immediately shut the door again, then hurried into a room he used exclusively for praying to Oronyx. After lighting a special candle, he knelt on a soft cushion.

"Titan of [Time], Oronyx, I call upon you. Please tell me, what is the meaning of the Sky Father you spoke of?"

A wisp of green smoke drifted from the burning candle, swirling before the village chief to form a cloud of mist. Within the mist, a single, brightly shining eye became faintly visible.

The low voice of Oronyx began to echo in the village chief's ear.

'Creator God… Sky Father of all life…'

Listening to Oronyx's whisper, the village chief's expression gradually grew solemn.

---o---

"Sir, how do you find this spot?"

The uncle had led Fu Zhu to an empty plot of land on the east side of the village. Not far away, a courtyard overflowing with fresh flowers and entwined with vines was visible.

"It's fine, but what's that over there?"

Fu Zhu pointed to the nearby courtyard and asked. The uncle glanced over and replied, "That is the Sacrament Courtyard. The village chief and some of the villagers are priests of the Titan of [Time]. They hold rituals there at a fixed time every year."

Fu Zhu nodded knowingly. He then took out a stack of blocks from his inventory, his gaze falling upon the empty land. He raised his hand, and countless blocks appeared out of thin air on the plot. In just a few breaths, a rather nice-looking two-story cottage stood on the empty ground. Fu Zhu even had the leisure to create a small patch of farmland behind the cottage, though nothing was planted in it yet.

The uncle watched this building being erected from nothing. He pointed at it, so shocked he was at a loss for words.

Fu Zhu smiled and reached out to pat the uncle's shoulder.

"Just a little trick. Would you like to come in and sit for a while?"

The uncle shook his head repeatedly. Before he understood Fu Zhu's identity, he wouldn't dare be alone with him. However, he realized he had refused too quickly and, fearing Fu Zhu might take it the wrong way, he quickly tried to explain himself.

"I have some other matters to attend to, so I really can't stay. Please forgive me!"

"It's fine, I was just being polite."

Fu Zhu waved his hand dismissively. Although the house was built, the interior wasn't decorated yet. Even if the uncle wanted to come in, he would have had to sit on the floor.

The uncle left in a hurry. Fu Zhu went straight into his house, casually placed a bed in an empty spot, and lay down on it for a moment to set his new respawn point.

From now on, no matter how Lygus changed the coordinates of Amphoreus, he could return to this bed with a simple command.

After decorating the house, Fu Zhu sat down in a chair made from wooden stairs. He placed his left hand, which was still holding Demiurge, on the table and looked at it.

"As we agreed, give me a copy of your data."

'Didn't see. Peaches.'

"Then I can't help you. It's not out of the question that you arrived too early. Cyrene might not even have been born yet."

Demiurge said nothing, but a small, sparkling, transparent cube squeezed out of its main body and landed on the table.

Fu Zhu picked it up and looked at it.

[Data Shard]

Fu Zhu put the Data Shard away. He planned to take this thing out of Amphoreus and give it to Herta and the others for research. But before that, he had to settle this little talking cube.

"I plan to leave for a while. It might be a decade, or even a century. What about you? If you intend to stay here and wait for Peaches, I can give you a bodyguard. Or, you can come with me and leap through time, jump a few hundred years into the future to find the Cyrene who already exists."

Demiurge answered with almost no hesitation.

'Follow. Master.'

"Alright."

Just as Fu Zhu was about to take out his Yamato and return to the Astral Express, he suddenly took out a piece of paper and a pen. He wrote a single line on it, placed it on the table, weighed it down with a random object, and only then did he take Demiurge and enter the spatial passage.

Several hours after Fu Zhu and Demiurge left, there was a knock on the door. The village chief's voice sounded from outside.

"Sir, do you need something to eat? Sir?"

The village chief called out for a long time without getting an answer. He waited a while longer, but the room remained silent.

He subconsciously began to recite the prayer, intending to use the power of [Time] to see if Fu Zhu was inside, but as soon as the first two words left his lips, he remembered what had happened when he had looked at Fu Zhu before, and he hastily closed his mouth.

After hesitating for a long time, the village chief raised his hand and knocked gently on the door.

"Sir, I'm bringing your food in, then."

There was no response from within. The village chief carefully pushed open the door while holding the food. The room was empty, with only a piece of paper on the table, held down by something.

The village chief walked over curiously, set down the food, and looked at the note. It was from Fu Zhu.

'In the future, a special girl will arrive. She may be called Cyrene, or she may not. Take good care of her. I look forward to meeting her.'
