"You have three strategies again?"
Hearing that familiar phrase come from Fu Zhu's mouth, Dan Heng couldn't help but smile.
It had been a long time since he'd heard Fu Zhu's "high, middle, and low strategies." Every time he proposed them, he always managed to bring them a surprise from an unexpected angle. He wondered what it would be this time.
Mydei, however, was a little surprised, his eyes wide as he stared at Fu Zhu.
"I didn't realize you were a strategist!"
In Mydei's impression, Fu Zhu had always been a "warrior" of immense power. After all, in all the stories he had heard about Fu Zhu, there was never any mention of his intellect.
To think that Fu Zhu would now propose a full three strategies for defeating the [Strife] Titan! Impressive!
What Mydei didn't know, however, was that Fu Zhu didn't just have three methods; he simply picked three at random to form his "high, middle, and low strategies."
After all, there were far too many ways to deal with a BOSS in Minecraft. Fu Zhu could kill the [Strife] Titan several thousand times over just by replicating the wisdom of other players.
Considering the urgency of the situation, Fu Zhu didn't waste any time and laid out his strategies directly.
"Low strategy: Insta-kill. I'll go and kill it in one shot. This is the most time-efficient method, but I don't recommend it."
Mydei's eyebrows twitched violently. What did he just hear?
Insta-kill? Fu Zhu could instantly kill the [Strife] Titan? If he could do it in one blow, he would eat the dictionary of Castrum Kremnos!
This was no joke; that was a Titan, not some stray dog on the street. Even if all one hundred thousand citizens of Castrum Kremnos went up and stabbed it, they might not even break its defense!
However, Mydei then recalled how Fu Zhu had just annihilated over three hundred thousand Black Tide creatures with a single sentence. He began to suspect that his earlier thought might have been a bit too rash.
The dictionary of Castrum Kremnos was a hardcover, after all. It'd be hard to swallow.
"Middle strategy: Seal it. I'll use a Nether Portal or the Yamato to open a passage and just toss it inside. That would also save us a lot of time. I heard about the [Strife] Titan from Aglaea earlier; a single avatar isn't worth us making a big fuss over. But similarly, I don't recommend this one either."
Mydei, who had just managed to calm down, felt his eyes bulge again at Fu Zhu's middle strategy.
What do you mean, "a single avatar isn't worth us making a big fuss over"? Dude, your words make us people of Castrum Kremnos look like a bunch of fools!
This one avatar alone has us pinned down, yet in your mouth, it's treated as nothing.
The gap between one person and another is even greater than the one between a person and a dog!
Having experienced Fu Zhu's "high, middle, and low strategies" before, Dan Heng simply ignored the first two. Fu Zhu would surely save the best idea for last.
"What about the high strategy?"
"The high strategy?"
At the mention of it, Fu Zhu's expression immediately lit up with excitement. The stark contrast made Mydei's eyebrows shoot up.
Why was Fu Zhu suddenly so excited? It seemed this high strategy was truly a brilliant plan.
Mydei immediately perked up his ears, listening intently, afraid to miss a single word.
"For the high strategy, I highly recommend it! But before I explain, I'm curious, did you guys ever watch ants fight when you were kids?"
"My childhood..." Dan Heng's expression grew complicated.
Fu Zhu realized what he'd said and quickly offered an apologetic smile to Dan Heng.
"Sorry, Dan Heng, that's not what I meant. You know what I'm getting at."
Dan Heng nodded. He didn't blame Fu Zhu; the words had simply reminded him of his own past, which was not worth recalling fondly. For him, a "childhood"... wasn't exactly a beautiful memory.
Still, Dan Heng understood Fu Zhu and could guess what he was implying.
"Are you talking about something like a beast fight?"
"Exactly!"
Fu Zhu snapped his fingers and shot Dan Heng a grin with a raised eyebrow. As expected of his good brother, he immediately understood what he was trying to say.
Mydei, on the other hand, scratched his head in confusion. "Beast fights? I've seen those occasionally. They're interesting, but what do beast fights have to do with your high strategy?"
A grin began to spread uncontrollably across Fu Zhu's face. He looked at the colossal [Strife] Titan and said:
"High strategy: Electronic Cricket Fighting! The [Strife] Titan's size is just perfect for putting on a 'beast fight' performance. I used to do this kind of thing all the time, but I haven't had many opportunities lately. Now that I have such a great chance, I'd hate to miss it!"
Hearing this, Dan Heng immediately nodded in agreement.
"I approve of your high strategy. Go ahead and do it."
As for how Fu Zhu intended to stage this "electronic cricket fight," he didn't care. All that mattered was supporting his companion.
Although Mydei was still a bit confused, seeing the normally stoic Dan Heng agree meant that Fu Zhu's plan probably wasn't a major problem.
"In that case, I also agree with this plan. Is there anything Castrum Kremnos can do to help?"
"Yes! And it's very important."
Fu Zhu looked at Mydei with a serious expression. Mydei couldn't help but tense up in response to his solemnity and nodded earnestly.
"Just say the word. Castrum Kremnos will fully cooperate with you!"
"Good. Have everyone in Castrum Kremnos retreat into the city. Do not interfere with the upcoming cricket fight. If anyone gets killed by the collateral damage, I'm not taking responsibility!"
"Huh? Retreat?"
Mydei was stunned. He subconsciously glanced at the [Strife] Titan outside the city. He had no doubt that without anyone to hold it back, the Titan would storm into the city and wreak havoc.
"Trust him, Mydei." Dan Heng met Mydei's gaze seriously. "I guarantee you, on my honor as a Nameless Guest, that Fu Zhu's plan will work."
Seeing his own brother support him so strongly warmed Fu Zhu's heart, but he still reached out and patted Dan Heng's shoulder.
"No need for such a grand guarantee, brother."
Dan Heng simply shook his head, saying nothing more.
Mydei fell silent for a moment. Truthfully, he had only met Fu Zhu once, and the rest was all hearsay. His relationship with Dan Heng, however, was different.
The past two days of fighting alongside him had earned his complete trust.
"Alright, then. I'll have my father, the King, order a full retreat."
Mydei left the scene. Fu Zhu turned to face the city outskirts, originally intending to input a command, but he suddenly remembered Mem, who was perched on his shoulder. He turned his head to look at her.
"As my Stand, you can't be slacking off! Get to work!"
"Mem! (I wasn't slacking off!)"
Mem let out a small protest but still flew up obediently. Without another word, she raised her two fluffy little paws and waved them toward the area outside the city walls. Two balls of pink light glowed on her paws.
Watching this, Dan Heng couldn't help but ask Fu Zhu, "Who is this little one? And what is she doing?"
"She's naturally making preparations for the electronic cricket fight."
Fu Zhu had discovered that ever since Mem took a trip on the Express, she had developed a degree of telepathic connection with him. When it came to commands, she was a natural, only needing his permission to act.
And now...
