The three mothers, Fiona, Bethsa and Mira, were sitting with Gina on a couch, and Mira was trying to explain why Gina and Jason's wedding was going to be a small one.
"The kids don't want something too grand. Jason and Gina are very popular, so if we announce the wedding, it'll blow out of proportion."
Fiona scoffed.
"That is no excuse at all! This is the wedding of a Prince of the Avarans, so it needs to be as grand as possible."
"I also think it should be a grand event. You only get married once, so it would be rude not to involve your people in it as well. On my wedding day, there was an entire festival for the citizens to enjoy themselves."
Bethsa bragged with a wide smile about her wedding, and Gina's face scrunched up a little at the thought of organising an entire festival just to get married! That was way too much.
