Hendrix and Georgia thought that the reason for this sudden closeness was because of the money their mother would be making from the Aqualith, but the actual reason for it was because of Jason's appearance. Right now, Jason looked so much like his father that it was impossible for Fiona to look at him without feeling some sort of love for him! It was the exact same thing that had happened with Bethsa when Jason met her on Vanta. It was just impossible for Jason's stepmothers to act coldly towards someone who looked so similar to the man they loved!
A few minutes later, Stella finally brought the food out of the kitchen, and she levitated the large pot to the center of the table before bringing multiple other meals out and telekinetically dropping them at the center of the table.
"Today's meal is rice and duck stew with roasted potatoes. For dessert, we have ice cream –"
