The new Queen of the palace despised the King with every fiber of her being, and she had tried to kill herself many times to try and get away from her husband!
The Queen's maids managed to prevent her from going through with suicide every time, but the worst incident had occurred when the Queen found out that she was pregnant. At the end, the child in her stomach did not survive, and it was declared that the Queen could no longer bear children. The King had whipped the Queen publicly as punishment for her actions, but even with the painful scars on her back and the blood dripping down her body, the Queen was happy that she would never have to carry this madman's child.
