The limo finally arrived at the end of the red carpet, and the driver came down from his seat and came around to open the door for the guests. The first three people to come down were the three mothers. Mira, Fiona, and Betsha were surprised by the sheer number of people standing and waving from the crowd, and Mira waved back kindly to some of them. But Fiona simply ignored all of them as she unfurled her fan and used it to cover her lower face while walking forward.
"That's Jason's mother. The one waving at us!"
"Do you know those women beside her? I haven't seen them before."
"I don't know, but they're so beautiful. Maybe I should try talking to them."
