Jason knew it would be foolish to underestimate the strength of a Primordial, and that was why he was trying to increase his Resonance as quickly as possible! Resonance was basically a cheat code that allowed Jason to stand toe-to-toe with mages that were far above his power level, so if Jason wanted to defeat and absorb the Essence of Primordials that were stronger than him, then he needed to get better at controlling his Resonance!
'I am not sure if the mana pathway here will be sufficient, my king. The combination of Mana and Qi is quite volatile, so there is a chance it will break through the containment channel and detonate prematurely.'
Azrael pointed a bony finger at a particular point in the rune that didn't look like it could handle the power surge from Resonance, and Jason hummed as he studied what Azrael pointed out. Jason was silent for a few seconds, but he eventually decided that the pathway looked fine.
