Girai suddenly spoke up in shock when the elder finished his announcement! Girai couldn't believe that this was possible! Jason didn't look any older than she was! In fact, he might even be younger than her! How was Jason already a Master while she was still an Awakened!?
"Master, this has to be some sort of joke, right? Is one of the elders using an illusion technique to fool us!?"
Girai spoke to her master while looking over at Jason, and Jason raised a brow at the older girl curiously. Girai looked like she was in her mid-twenties, and just from the look on her face, Jason could tell she was a difficult person.
"No, Girai. I can assure you that this is not an illusion or a trick. I was present when Master Jason received his Qi Element, so you must show him the proper respect as your senior."
