C'thlyanu looked back at Hesabeth and gave a simple answer.
"I think it is because of you."
Hesabeth's eyes narrowed.
"Me?"
"Yes, you. Your bias is doing what it can to protect you. But it appears the world is incapable of stopping this disaster, so it has prioritized your safety over the safety of the rest of the domain. Your bias does not allow anyone to leave this world because it wants to protect you."
Hesabeth huffed as an understanding immediately dawned on her, and she gained a conflicted expression on her face. On one hand, Hesabeth knew that it was only right that the world cared so much for her since she was the most important being in existence, but on the other hand, Hesabeth was worried about the rest of her domain. How many people would die out there because of this disaster? Hesabeth did not like the fact that she couldn't go out and do something for them right now.
"What sort of disaster is so powerful that even the world can't do anything about it?"
