Veldanava's voice carried through the great hall, steady and commanding. "Feldway. My sisters and I will be gone for a while. You and the other archangels are in charge of the palace until we return."
A swirl of light answered him as Feldway appeared instantly, kneeling with one hand over his chest. "As you command, Lord Veldanava."
Veldanava gave a brief nod. He turned toward his sisters—Velzard calm and composed, Velgrynd practically vibrating with anticipation—and with a soft hum of divine energy, all three vanished, their forms dissolving into golden light.
Back in Solara
The palace halls were alive with gentle laughter. Ramiris sat near the sunlit balcony, cradling baby Karna in her arms, her wings faintly shimmering in the light. The infant's golden eyes sparkled as Veldora made faces in front of him—crossing his eyes, puffing his cheeks, even pretending to sneeze flames just to earn another giggle.
Karlos knelt nearby, grinning ear to ear. "Young master Karna, look here!" he said, wiggling his fingers playfully. "You must already feel the noble aura of Solara's future ruler, huh?"
Ramiris laughed softly, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "You're going to spoil him before he can even walk."
A little farther back, Zalario stood beside Velsun. His gaze stayed fixed on the child, quiet and assessing.
"This child's potential…" he murmured, almost to himself. "It's immeasurable. His energy flow—it's neither purely draconic nor spiritual. It's something entirely new."
Velsun watched his son in silence for a moment, the corners of his mouth lifting in a quiet smile.
"He's special, Zalario," he said. "You can feel it too, right?"
Zalario nodded slowly, eyes still on the baby. "Special doesn't even begin to describe it. That child… might surpass even what the world can measure."
The air shimmered suddenly. A ripple of divine energy spread through the room—calm but overwhelming. Every head turned toward the entrance.
Veldora's grin faded. Ramiris stood, clutching Karna a little tighter.
Velsun's eyes narrowed slightly. "They're here."
Light filled the grand hall as Veldanava, Velzard, and Velgrynd appeared, their presence washing over Solara like the calm weight of the heavens themselves.
"Where is the child?!" Velzard and Velgrynd shouted, their eyes scanning the room frantically.
All of us froze for a moment, staring back at them—and then they spotted him: a blonde little boy in Ramiris' arms, giggling while Veldora and Karlos played around him.
Without hesitation, both sisters rushed forward.
"Onee-sa—" Veldora tried to call, but he was instantly shoved aside by Velzard.
Velgrynd, not missing a beat, shoved Karlos away with a firm push.
"Ah… the boy is so… cute! Look at his cheeks—they're so soft!" Velzard murmured, practically melting.
"Ah… he's going to be a ladykiller when he grows up," Velgrynd added with a sly smile, eyes fixed on her nephew.
Karna, of course, was giggling at their attention, clearly enjoying the fuss.
"Oi, oi, you two! Now stop—don't scare my Karna!" Ramiris called out, holding the baby a little tighter.
"Hah? Scare him? He clearly likes his aunts," Velzard replied, still hovering over the little boy.
On the side, Zalario bowed low. "Welcome, Lord Veldanava," he said with quiet respect.
"Ah, Zalario. Looks like you've been keeping things under control here."
"And Velsun… congratulations. You're a father now. First in the family to be a parent," Velzard added, a hint of pride in his voice.
"Yeah," I said, smiling softly.
Velgrynd tilted her head, curiosity sparkling in her eyes. "But… how did this happen, elder brother? I thought spiritual beings couldn't have offspring."
Veldanava's eyes twinkled, a mischievous grin forming. "Well… you're correct. So… did you do it?"
"Do what?" I asked, blinking.
"You know… the biological reproduction process," he said casually, as if discussing the weather.
Ramiris froze, her face turning bright red, while Velzard and Velgrynd were trying—and failing—not to snicker at her reaction. Veldora, meanwhile, was blissfully oblivious.
"Oh… yeah… we did that," I said, flatly, meeting Ramiris' mortified gaze with a straight face.
"You IDIOT! Why are you saying it like it's nothing?" Ramiris yelled, flailing slightly in embarrassment.
I had nothing to add—what could I say?
Veldanava's laughter rang through the room, warm and deep. "Right now, Velsun… I don't have a logical explanation either. It's as if some higher power made a miracle happen."
I couldn't help but think to myself, "Definitely some game of the author."
The air around Solara shifted. A sudden pressure rolled through the palace—a mix of infernal heat and regal authority.
Mimir's voice flickered through my mind. «Lad, Guy Crimson approaches. Fast.»
What the hell is he doing here? I thought, my aura tightening instinctively.
Before Mimir could answer, another signature flared—calm, disciplined, and blazing with human brilliance.
«Correction: two. The second is Rudra Nam Ul Nasca.»
A heartbeat later, crimson light and golden radiance collided above the palace. Two figures descended, the air cracking from the force of their arrival.
Karlos, Zalario, and Reinhart moved instantly, weapons half-drawn, magicules rippling around them.
"GUY! What are you doing here?" Velzard snapped, wings of frost unfolding.
Guy just grinned, the usual cocky tilt to his head. "What do you mean, what am I doing here? My rival became a father—what kind of rival would I be if I didn't come congratulate him? You think I'd miss seeing the firstborn of the Sun Dragon?"
Velgrynd turned toward the other newcomer. "And you, Rudra? Why are you here?"
Rudra's tone was even, his golden eyes calm. "My teacher's brother had a son. It's only right I pay my respects."
Guy's attention shifted immediately to Ramiris and the child in her arms. He leaned forward, hands on his knees, studying the baby.
"So this is Karna, huh? Hm. He definitely looks like his father. Are you sure he's yours, Ramiris? Doesn't look like you at all."
"Shut up!" Ramiris shot back, wings flaring in indignation. "What part of him doesn't look like me? He looks exactly like me!"
Guy chuckled, holding up his hands in mock surrender. "Yeah, yeah, if you say so."
He straightened, turned to me, and slapped me on the back hard enough to make the floor shudder. "Congrats, my rival! A kid already, huh? Hahahah!"
"Uh… yeah…" I managed, my shoulder still stinging.
Rudra, meanwhile, had approached Reinhart. His gaze was sharp but not unkind. "You must be Reinhart. I've heard of you—the first True Hero."
Reinhart smiled faintly. "Oh? Am I that famous already?"
From behind, Karlos smirked. "Wow… someone's nose is getting longer."
Reinhart gave him a sideways glance. "Keep talking, demon, and we'll see whose nose stays attached."
Their brief exchange broke the tension, laughter rising around the hall. Even Veldanava chuckled softly from where he stood.
Rudra stepped closer, his eyes calm but sharp. "Of course I've heard about you. After all, I'm a hero myself, and you—being the first true hero—I was bound to know of you."
Reinhart's lips curved into a faint, confident smile. "I see… so my reputation precedes me. Not bad."
Karlos muttered from the side, still grinning, "Careful, Reinhart. You're making the humble look dangerous."
Guy, still eyeing Karna, shook his head with amusement. "Hah, this little brat is already surrounded by powerful adults. Guess he's got no choice but to be extraordinary."
I looked down at Karna, who was now reaching out his tiny hands toward Rudra and Reinhart. My chest warmed. "Seems like he's already curious about the world—and about everyone in it."
Ramiris, still holding Karna, smiled softly. "He really is… our little miracle."
