Korra and Nail left the cave, a smell of truffle in the air, as they kept walking they ended up somehow back to the entrance of the cave. Nail was seemingly lost in his own mind while Korra felt the situation extremely weird, plus, Nail seemed stressed, something extremely weird when it comes to someone as laid off as Nail, who acted nonchalantly anywhere, anyhow and with anyone.
They kept walking until they reached that same shore where Mergo and Nail sat to take a break back a few days ago. In Nail's mind he also thought of giving the "kid" a visit, though he was unsure on how he would react. In the end of the day he would have taught him even if he didn't kill those three torneds. After a few seconds, Nail slapped his face twice, Korra looked at him, comparing him to a Crazy-Oldman in her mind, at the same time, Nail Touched both Korra's and the unconcious boy's shoulder, and as Korra and Nail close their eyes, their feet felt cold, extremly cold, to be precise, and when they both opened their eyes, they were back in the campament of the hares.
Korra walked calmly, even though she wasn't that tall, her pressence was intimidating enough, for those soldiers who were talking behind Nail's back to be stay put and quiet. They kept walking towards the main tent and the biggest one at the same time. Finally inside, Korra walked up inside one of the rooms inside of the tent, walking out with a spare jacket to cover the boy.
"Did you really bring a whole closet here?" Nail asked, to lighten the mood.
"What are you talking about? That Room is a closet." Korra answered seriously, which made Nail worry slightly over how rich was really her leader.
At the same time somewhere else...
Mergo woke up inside a white room, he was obviosly in the hospital, but seconds ago he still could feel the sand under his feet, and he could still remember that stupid horse which was still haunting him in his dreams, he still could even feel the scent of the air, as if he was next to the beach.
Mergo turned his head to the right, there he could see his sister, holding his hand, turning his head to the other side, he could see the views, it was indeed night, and the whole city. At the same time Mergo, felt scared pver moving too much and waking her sister.
Laying there, In clothes which weren't his, in a weird room he didn't even know, after fighting some looking like monster creatures, if someone would have told him this a few months ago, he would have not believed it, he sighed calmly, feeling his hand slightly sweaty, he turned his face back towards his sister, her eyes were awake.
"Retard, if you want to kill the least is not getting yourself killed earlier" She said as she sighed slightly annoyed whiping the sweat off her hands with a tissue.
"How long have I been out" Mergo asked with his voice quiet.
"A few hours, You have a concussion, dehydration, and the majority of our muscles are overwhelmed. So you'll need to stay for a few days." She said as she brought out a knife and started pealing an apple.
Back in the hares camp...
Nail and Korra sat each in different sofas, while the kid still asleep was placed on Korra's bedroom so he could sleep.
"So, will you tell me for the love of the gods what have you seen that made you change your attitude on a 180 gradus turn?" Said Korra almost pissed off.
Nail sighed as if he was tired, "I saw how the''Darkness'' took a bipedal form, covered itself with the darkness which turned into some kind of cloack for me to just blink and it disappeared."
Korra's mouth closed and opened three times, almost as if she was trying to understand if Nail was serious or not.
"You are not actually bullshitting me right? Because if its a joke, it's not funny." Korra said as she covered her mouth with a hand and looked at Nail directly to his eyes.
"I don't joke about things like this. And you know it." Nail said with a voice fully serious and not even blinking.
Silence rised between them, they may have discovered something that they shouldn't someone controlling the darkness? That black mist which corroded into all the living beings.
"Right now" Korra broke the silence, "We need to take care of that trainee you have, and the kid we found, he may be a Linker, at least the other cases we found, all of those kids had Lux, and were in stage 0."
Nail nodded knowingly very well, that things may have turn between the four continents if they reveal this information, and in any case, who would believe him? He was old, and to make a veridic report, there needed to be atleast three persons who could verify the information.
"I'll go check on ''My trainee'' or however you called him." Said Sail as he stood up with a groan.
With that nail left the tent, leaving the hares camp the same way he came in, without raising his head or his voice.
Back in the hospital...
A few hours had passed, Gaia not leaving Mergo's side, cutting, cleaning and pealing an unreasonable amount of fruits.
"How many fruits did you even get?" Mergo asked, both jokingly and curious.
Gaia gave Mergo an annoyed look, and before she could even answer, Mergo's eyes turned towards the doorframe, as he saw the figure of Nail appearing in.
