"Okay, than what are we waiting for, let's go." The Maiden clapped excitedly.
She could still feel the hunger in the pit of her stomach and wondered if this was what she'd feel for forever; or would this go away after some time?
Either way she accepted that this was her life now. There was no going back now.
When they arrived at the gate, the shifters were tired, exhaustion weighed heavy, pressing down on them.
They did their best to conceal it, but Ezelreth could see it, and he felt nothing but disappointment and disgust in their weakness.
