Darcy smiled remorsefully. "It's okay, Mrs. Levin. I'm fine. I just requested Marlene to ask for a day off for me. I didn't expect that she would tell all of you, causing you guys to come here in vain. I'm really sorry."
Having said that, she glared at Marlene.
"Darcy, I was just worried about you, I... "
"Even if you're worried, you shouldn't trouble Mrs. Levin. Mrs. Levin still needs to keep Mrs. Carter company."
Darcy then shook her head helplessly and continued reproaching her, "It was because of me that Old Mrs. Yancey had a heart attack. How can I trouble them again?"
As she said, her eyes reddened as if she was really angered.
Marlene was taken aback by Darcy's sudden outburst.
