"You're cute." Henry tried to pat Kayla's head, but she dodged his attempt. Kayla even hissed angrily at him, "Evil man! Don't touch my head! I hate the Miller family!" She hated the Millers because of what Jeanette did to her mother. She believed that they were a bunch of unreasonable people, especially Agnes. Kayla thought Agnes was an elegant lady, but it turned out that she was so irrational and defended Jeanette.
Henry withdrew his hand sheepishly. "I'm so sorry, Kayla. Because of my sister's wrongdoing, our family left a terrible impression on you," he apologized sincerely.
Fortunately, Kayla had been taught well by Zoey. She knew that she could not be mean to innocent people who had expressed their apologies.
"Hmph! Don't think that your apology will make me forgive that evil woman. However, since you have nothing to do with this incident, I'll let it slide," Kayla huffed arrogantly.
