"Are you Mr. Haden of the Miller family?" Zoey stared at Haden's face that bore a resemblance to Gabriel and Agnes. She quickly figured out who he was.
Haden raised his hand and touched his face. He muttered in disappointment, "Am I not mysterious at all?"
"Lame," Zoey commented and was about to leave when he blocked her path. "Don't get angry, Zoey. I was just joking."
Zoey sneezed when she smelled the fragrance of the roses again.
"Sorry, sorry." Haden quickly took a few steps back. His eyes swiveled around, and he stopped a woman passing by.
Honey-tongued, he said, "Hey there, miss. I think a pretty lady like you deserves flowers, so please accept these roses."
The middle-aged woman wasn't expecting such a handsome man to give her roses. Her cheeks flushed as she stuttered, "For... For me?"
"Yes." Without waiting for the woman to fawn on him, Haden chased after Zoey swiftly.
