Charles felt a bit embarrassed.
He rubbed his nose and glanced at Haden. "Behave yourself, Haden. Don't scare Stacey off. Otherwise, I won't talk you up to Zoey."
"Oh, Charles. You've improved. You finally know how to put me in my place." Haden walked toward Charles, raised his fist, and punched Charles right in the chest. "Do you think just because you got yourself a woman, I won't dare to hit you anymore?"
Before Charles could reply, Stacey stroked where Haden had punched Charles. Tears started flowing out from her eyes.
Stacey plucked up the courage and boldly asked, "Mr. Haden... Can you punch lighter next time?"
"Even though you both have just gotten together, it seems like you're protective toward him already."
