Zoey ate a mouthful of salad. "I'm not a drinker. But if you want someone to drink with, wait until I give birth to this little one. Then, we can drink as much as you want."
Lorraine took a sip of her wine and said, "It's a deal. You can't pull back now."
"Deal." Zoey paused to look at Lorraine. "Lorraine, you remind me of a friend of mine."
"Who is it? I think we can be good friends," Lorraine asked eagerly.
"Yvonne Carter, do you know her?"
"Sounds a little familiar, but I can't put a face to her name. It's okay, I'll get to know her when I get back. If she's your friend, then she's mine as well. When the time comes, we shall drink to our heart's content."
Leo quickly gave her the stink eye. "Don't be a bad influence."
