Chapter 250 - Chapter 250

Sasori's body was mostly turned into wood. He really made himself into a human puppet.

Hatake Satoru tapped the wooden frame Karna was holding and looked at it thoughtfully.

Looking at it this way, it's not much different from a normal wooden puppet.

The important thing is this flesh core. Hatake Satoru squeezed the cylindrical core in his hand.

The front of the cylinder had "Sasori" written on it in red letters on a white background.

Thin blood vessels were tightly attached to it, looking so fragile that it would break with a pinch.

The soft touch was completely different from the wooden body. This was probably the only part of Sasori's body that was still human.

And the only part he hadn't dealt with.

To use Chakra, he had to keep this fatal point and flesh.

Hatake Satoru casually threw Sasori's core into the system space. This thing might be useful to him later.

Besides that, there was something else.

"You can talk?"

Hatake Satoru looked at Karna with interest, stroking his chin.

Was this guy pretending to be mute the whole time?

Before he used the God-Slaying Spear, he hadn't heard him speak. Although he responded to commands, he was just a puppet, right?

"Yes."

Karna nodded emotionlessly.

"If you can talk, can you also think?"

"..."

Karna didn't answer, but just silently watched Hatake Satoru.

Although he could give simple answers, he didn't seem to have any independent thought.

"Well, I guess it is like this."

Hatake Satoru pursed his lips and scratched his head.

Although he was a bit more advanced, Karna was just a puppet powered by spells, not the Heroic Spirit.

But that made more sense.

Hatake Satoru gave Karna a simple command and walked toward Chiyo and Gaara.

Chiyo was standing there, looking at the two of them with a complicated expression.

Sasori's fate was his own doing. She wouldn't hate Karna like she hated Konoha's White Fang, but she felt a bit sad and lost.

Her son and grandson were gone one by one. What was the point of living so long?

Chiyo was in a state of emptiness.

Hatake Satoru got goosebumps from the empty look in her eyes.

"Don't look at me like that, Grandma Chiyo."

"Oh, you're awake, Gaara."

Hatake Satoru smiled and waved his hands in front of him, calling out to Gaara, who was sitting up.

As he passed Chiyo, Hatake Satoru whispered to her in a voice only they could hear, still smiling.

"Don't be sad about your grandson. He'll be back."

Then Hatake Satoru stood up straight and went to bother Gaara.

Chiyo's pupils shrank. Her sad and empty heart was shaken. She looked at Hatake Satoru in disbelief. He had nothing in his hands and was acting like nothing had happened.

She knew Hatake Satoru did a lot of strange things, but Sasori's body had been thrown away.

Chiyo looked back and forth between Hatake Satoru and Karna. The puppet's face was still expressionless, and Hatake Satoru's attention seemed to be back on Gaara.

What did he want to do?

A slight smile appeared on Hatake Satoru's face. Sasori wasn't just something he kept on a whim. He was eyeing something else.

For example, the Reanimation Jutsu that revived the dead.

The best way to get that stubborn old woman into his plan was through Sasori.

If he did Chiyo a favor, the Reanimation Jutsu could become a trump card for him.

Anyway, everyone was just getting what they needed, acting for their own benefit.

"What's going on! There was a huge explosion here, Satoru bro—Gaara—are you guys alive?"

Naruto's confident voice came from a distance.

"How could the teacher die? What are you talking about?"

Hozuki Mangetsu couldn't help but retort.

"But the explosion was really loud! The whole ground was shaking!"

"And the message said this place was supposed to be a cave, right?"

Naruto protested.

Everyone looked at the cave, which was almost flat.

Looking down from above, the entire cave had been flattened with rubble. They could barely see something like the entrance, with some remaining un-shattered rock walls.

No wonder they could barely move from the tremors in the distance.

The place had practically been blown away.

But… it felt like the explosion was Hatake Satoru's doing.

Kakashi silently cursed in his mind with dead fish eyes.

Hozuki Mangetsu and Yamato didn't say it out loud, but they had similar thoughts in their heads.

"What are you saying? No one died."

"And as for a rescue, you guys are too late."

Hatake Satoru's silver hair peeked out from behind the remaining rock wall. He reached out and waved to them as a greeting.

Karna had already helped Gaara stand up.

They arrived after the fight was over. They were a bit slow.

Kakashi was speechless for a moment. They had been held up by Itachi and Sasuke on the road.

But who knew that even against the Akatsuki, Hatake Satoru could take care of the enemy so quickly.

Hozuki Mangetsu had complained to Kakashi and Naruto on the way.

"Why did you rush here from halfway, and we still managed to catch up?"

Hozuki Mangetsu was as annoying as Hatake Satoru.

Kakashi wondered if Hozuki Mangetsu was Hatake Satoru's alt account.

"Because you're the Mizukage." Kakashi swallowed his complaints, not saying it out loud.

Wasn't it normal for a Mizukage to quickly deal with the enemy?

Kakashi and Naruto had to face both Itachi and Sasuke. Luckily, Itachi was an imposter using an unknown Ninjutsu.

Otherwise, he would have been trapped for days in the hospital again because of Tsukuyomi.

"After all… it's the teacher. It feels like anything he does is reasonable."

Hozuki Mangetsu and Naruto scratched their heads with frustration, and then focused on Gaara next to them.

"Gaara, are you okay?"

"I was shocked when I heard you were kidnapped!"

The two of them started asking Gaara questions and showing their concern.

Kakashi's eyes landed on the emotionless man who was helping Gaara.

"Who is he?"
