Margaret was discharged from the hospital three days later.
Early in the morning, Julian had come to pick her up. Margaret glanced at him and said proudly, "I can go home with you, but I haven't forgiven you. I hate Jessie."
She would be honest about that, and she didn't care whether Julian would be angry or not.
She could abandon him at any time, and Julian would become a tramp. She was his boss!
Julian glanced at her with his dark eyes and said casually, "Mother is waiting for us at home. Don't you want to go home?"
If she dared to offend Orlenna, she would stay in the hospital forever.
Margaret's face turned pale as she thought of what Orlenna had said. Then she followed Julian and left the hospital.
Sitting in Julian's car, Margaret continued, "I went back with you because I miss my mother."
Julian sighed resignedly and answered, "I see!"
He knew that it would be a waste of time to reason with her. He decided to shut up.
