Shenhe wasn't sure if Qin Yu had recently undergone some kind of mental shift. Her behavior lately had been noticeably different from before.
The difference lay in one thing: she had become clingier.
"Qin Yu."
Clinging to Shenhe like a vine, Qin Yu replied casually, "What?"
"I feel like you've become even closer to me lately."

Qin Yu instinctively wanted to retort, but she couldn't.
After all, given their current state, denying it would be like lying through her teeth. Yet she couldn't bring herself to frankly acknowledge it either, because she was embarrassed.
Overwhelmed by this emotional turmoil, Qin Yu could only blush and ask, "Is that a problem?"
"Of course not," Shenhe murmured softly, gently stroking Qin Yu's hair. "I quite like it." The embrace brought her a sense of peace and relaxation.

Qin Yu narrowed her eyes, a faint smile playing on her lips. "Then there you have it."
She adjusted her position, pressing herself even closer to Shenhe. Her cool skin quickly warmed with Qin Yu's body heat, while Shenhe's scent, both mesmerizing and soothing, made her feel a little drowsy.
"Sleepy?" Shenhe asked.
"A little."
"Then rest for a while."
Qin Yu yawned and shook her head. "Just a little sleepy. Besides, didn't we agree to go out today? You said you were really looking forward to it, Shenhe."
"Hmm, should we go now?"
"In a little while."
Qin Yu didn't want to leave the warmth just yet.
Hearing Qin Yu's words, Shenhe nodded slightly, returned the embrace, and closed her eyes, savoring the other woman's presence and scent.

Feeling Shenhe so close, pressed against her, Qin Yu's body temperature began to rise gradually, her heart racing with a fluttering excitement.
This affection amplified another emotion, one that started to consume her thoughts.
Qin Yu's fingertips drifted involuntarily to Shenhe's face, her breath growing warm. From the depths of her heart, she yearned to be even closer to Shenhe, to bridge the distance between them in body and soul.

Sensing something, Shenhe opened her eyes.
"Qin Yu?"
Shenhe's voice snapped Qin Yu back to reality. Noticing the faint sheen of moisture on Shenhe's neck, she realized what she had been doing and quickly turned away.
"Wh-what are you doing?" Qin Yu stammered, her face flushed crimson.
"Shall we go to the bedroom?"

Qin Yu bristled like a startled cat, immediately protesting, "I didn't mean to!"
"You didn't?" Shenhe's voice carried a hint of disappointment.
Qin Yu didn't want to admit it, but Shenhe's dejected expression only made her feel worse. Her face flushed even redder as she stammered, "I... I did want to, just a little."
Just a little.

Can't she understand plain words? I said just a little!
"Now... isn't the right time."
To avoid further misunderstandings, Qin Yu added softly, burying her face against Shenhe's chest.
Only then did Shenhe's expression soften. "I see."
Good she understands. Don't make it sound like I'm obsessed with this day and night, Qin Yu thought irritably. Yet the unspoken desire simmering within her left her restless.
I need to do something to calm it down.
Qin Yu pushed herself up and pinned Shenhe beneath her.
Her eyes glistened with a moist sheen, Shenhe's face swaying like a reflection in them. Without a word, Qin Yu naturally leaned down, lowered her head, and did what came as naturally as breathing. Shenhe, in turn, accepted it just as naturally, savoring the familiar warmth and the emotional heat that accompanied it.

Shenhe grasped Qin Yu's hand, causing the light in Qin Yu's eyes to flicker. Her fingertips traced Shenhe's lips.
I really can't control myself after all.
Just then, a knock sounded at the door.
"Qin Yu? Shenhe? Is anyone home?"
It was Ganyu's voice.
While not exactly a bucket of cold water to the face, Ganyu's arrival did manage to dampen Qin Yu's impulsiveness.
She couldn't possibly do that with Shenhe while Sister Ganyu was still outside.
"I'll get the door," Qin Yu said.
"Mm."
Qin Yu stood up, rubbed her flushed cheeks, and went to the entryway to open the door.
Ganyu stood outside, her face lighting up with a gentle smile as she saw Qin Yu.
"Qin Yu, you're home!"
"Yes, Sister Ganyu. Please come in and have a seat."
Ganyu often visited, and Qin Yu had given her a spare key some time ago, allowing her to come anytime without needing to knock. Yet Ganyu always knocked first.
This was probably for the best. If she had just barged in and seen what they were doing... Qin Yu's mind raced with absurd scenarios, her ears growing warm.
"Ah, actually, I came to invite you and Shenhe out... The Qixing gave me a day off today, insisting I get some rest." Ganyu sighed softly.
"I tried to refuse, but they wouldn't take no for an answer. Since I have this rare opportunity, I thought, why don't we three go out and have some fun together...?"
Ganyu finished speaking and looked at Qin Yu with anticipation.
Qin Yu's interest was piqued.
"I want to go!"
Shenhe stepped behind Qin Yu and added, "Mm, I want to go too."
Ganyu smiled.
As for where they were going, Qin Yu and Shenhe hadn't decided yet. They had only agreed to go out and have fun today. Ganyu, however, had already planned what she wanted to do before they even met.
"Let's fly kites," she suggested. "The wind isn't strong today, and the weather is clear and warm."
So the trio first went to Liyue Harbor to buy three kites, then headed to an open field outside the city to launch them high into the sky.
At first, Qin Yu found it mildly amusing, but after watching for a while, she grew bored.
The kites swayed in the wind, but that was all they did. The scenery they could see from above, she could see just as well from the ground.
Just as her boredom was settling in, she heard Ganyu's hesitant voice.
"Qin Yu..."
"Hmm?" Qin Yu replied, puzzled.
Ganyu's eyes flickered, her cheeks flushed slightly. "I wanted to ask... could I stay over at your place tonight?"
She had been secretly envious of Qin Yu and Shenhe's living arrangement. Since she had the day off, she wondered if she could stay over for a night or two to spend more time with Qin Yu.

Stay over? Qin Yu agreed without hesitation. "Of course! Sister Ganyu can stay over whenever she wants. What do you think, Shenhe?"
"Me too. It's been a while since the three of us stayed over together."
That was true.
Qin Yu didn't dwell on why Ganyu wanted to stay over.
The reason didn't matter; what mattered was being together. She'd even agree if Ganyu wanted to move in, though sharing a bed might be a bit... awkward tonight.
Qin Yu felt restless, her unspoken desires still pressing heavily on her heart.
After flying kites, the trio wandered around Liyue Harbor for a while longer, only returning home as night approached.
Shenhe excused herself to go to her room.
Left in the living room, Qin Yu leaned against the sofa, continuing her conversation with Ganyu.
"You can wear my clothes later, right? As for underwear... Shenhe's might fit you better, Sister Ganyu," Qin Yu suggested.
Ganyu said shyly, blushing slightly. "Wear your clothes, Qin Yu?"

"It's... not very good," Ganyu murmured, her gaze lowered.
Why can't you just say it directly? she thought, annoyed. But she quickly realized it wasn't something easy to blurt out. If she were in Ganyu's shoes, she'd probably be acting the same way.
"Then... the ones I've worn?" Qin Yu murmured softly.
Ganyu, her wish fulfilled, replied with a satisfied sigh, "Mmm..."

A silence descended between them, an invisible, intangible atmosphere that blurred the air, making Qin Yu's heart race and leaving her unsure how to break the quiet.
When more intimate, even tender and sweet, fantasies and desires naturally surfaced in her mind, Qin Yu immediately suppressed them.
I need to change the subject.
Oh right, I haven't shared the good news yet.
Suddenly remembering she had something important to tell Ganyu, Qin Yu placed her hands on the sofa and leaned closer, gently pressing close to Ganyu's front.
"Sister Ganyu, I have some good news for you."
Ganyu could practically see Qin Yu's invisible tail wagging.
Intrigued, she gently stroked the strands of hair near Qin Yu's neck and asked softly, "What is it?"
Qin Yu smiled. "I've found a way for us to stay together for a long time, Sister Ganyu! And it's not some shady trick or a dangerous method that will bring disaster."
"Eh? Really?" Ganyu exclaimed in surprise.
Don't believe me? Qin Yu pouted, feeling a little resentful.
But it's understandable that she'd be skeptical.
"Of course it's true! It might take some time, but it won't be too long," Qin Yu said.
And I'll prove it with my actions, Qin Yu thought, her heart filled with anticipation for their future together.
Realizing Qin Yu wasn't lying, Ganyu froze for a moment, lost in thought.
"I see..."
Ganyu murmured, burying her face in Qin Yu's embrace. Qin Yu could faintly feel Ganyu's uneven breathing against her chest.

Can't she be a little happier? Qin Yu muttered to herself, but she understood Ganyu's feelings and simply stroked her horn in silent reassurance.
"Thank you, Qin Yu," Ganyu whispered.
"I just want to stay with Sister Ganyu and everyone else forever," Qin Yu replied.
Ganyu wrapped her arms around Qin Yu's waist, her voice muffled as she responded, "Me too."

Ganyu took a deep breath, straightened her back, and gazed into Qin Yu's eyes. Lingering tears still glistened, but a stronger emotion surged forth, quickly coloring her gaze with a deep, honeyed affection.
Ganyu's fingertips brushed against Qin Yu's cheek.
This was the most natural development imaginable for both of them. Qin Yu offered no resistance, allowing herself to be pulled closer, letting Ganyu's essence seep into every inch of her body and soul.

Ganyu then turned her face, and the two familiar yet comforting, intoxicating, and disorienting auras surrounded Qin Yu completely. They drew out the desires buried deep within her heart, giving them form through sight, touch, scent, and sound.
Qin Yu's face flushed with heat. "Shall we... go to the bedroom?"
"Mm..." "Okay."
Initially nervous and uneasy about this unfamiliar situation, Qin Yu found her anxiety swept away by the surging heat, vanishing without a trace.

Yet, despite being a good dream, its content was somewhat... difficult to describe and subtly strange. In the dream, Keqing and the others were all around her, engaged in activities that were far from proper.
"Qin Yu..."
Shenhe's voice gently roused her.
Morning sunlight streamed into the bedroom. Qin Yu, feeling weak all over, sat up groggily and yawned, covering her mouth.
"Good morning," Shenhe said softly, leaning closer.

Still half-asleep, Qin Yu mumbled in response, "Mmm..."
At that moment, Ganyu pushed open the door. Seeing Qin Yu awake, she smiled and sat beside her, gently pulling Qin Yu's face toward her and giving her a light peck.

"Good morning, Qin Yu."
"Morning... huh?"
Only when she saw Ganyu did Qin Yu finally regain some clarity.
Simultaneously, memories of the previous night flooded back like a tidal wave, each scene from their shared night vivid and unforgettable, impossible to banish from her mind.
Last night... I... Qin Yu's face flushed crimson, and she burrowed under the covers.
"What's wrong, Qin Yu? Are you feeling unwell?" Shenhe asked, concerned.
"No... Just leave me alone. Let me sleep a bit longer."
Shenhe looked puzzled, but since Qin Yu had spoken, she nodded. "Understood."
"And—" Qin Yu hesitated, then peeked her head out from under the covers, whispering, "Sister Ganyu, you can stay here too."
Shenhe nodded. "Mm-hmm, we'll all stay together."
"Huh? Ah... Mmm! I want to stay too, to live together!" Ganyu's face flushed crimson, her joy evident. She hadn't expected Qin Yu to suddenly say that.
Qin Yu's expression relaxed considerably as she snuggled back under the covers.
Ganyu placed her hand on the quilt, smiling. "Then I'll find some time to pack up and move in later."
"Mhm," Qin Yu replied.
Now the three of them would be living together, and in the future, they could continue to be with Keqing and the others for a long time.
At this thought, Qin Yu's heart brimmed with anticipation for the future.
But the mingled scents trapped under the blanket made her cheeks burn and her thoughts drift in strange directions. Recalling everything Shenhe and Ganyu had done for her, Qin Yu's heart raced even faster.
Three people...
It didn't sound so bad after all.
