"You will never know how strong they are," Kaguya replied, pausing after Naruto spoke.
"We do know how strong they are," Naruto explained. "Not long ago, we dealt with someone called Isshiki Otsutsuki."
Kaguya remained silent for a moment as her eyes flickered towards Nagato, before continuing.
"No! There are more than just Isshiki among the Otsutsuki, many far more powerful beings exist. Only with enough White Zetsu can we ensure our safety."
"Then there's no room for negotiation." No matter how Naruto tried to persuade her, Kaguya refused. She stubbornly believed that defeating the Otsutsuki required a massive White Zetsu army.
Talk no Jutsu had finally encountered an enemy it couldn't convince, someone with very strong lingering trauma.
Now Naruto understood where Madara's stubbornness came from, it was hereditary.
Naruto sighed. "Then please return to the moon, Grandma."
He didn't do this to maintain peace in the Shinobi World or for the sake of justice. Naruto simply didn't want his subordinates to become monsters like the White Zetsu.
Humans had infinite potential, but once turned into White Zetsu, that was gone.
"Mother, if you don't want to kill them, then let us seal them instead." Seeing the negotiations collapse, Black Zetsu laughed happily from within her sleeve.
Naruto patted Sasuke's shoulder, channeling ki and chakra into him. "Sasuke, you're enhanced, go!"
Naruto then jumped beside Nagato. "Leader, don't intervene this time. Let Sasuke handle it."
Nagato hesitated. "Her chakra exceeds even Madara's. I suggest we work together. If Sasuke goes alone..."
"Don't worry. Massive chakra doesn't always mean stronger combat power. Sasuke can handle her."
"Besides, we're right here watching."
By then, Sasuke had already engaged Kaguya.
"Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack!"
The technique claimed to be the ultimate realm of taijutsu, praised as capable of shaking the continents through the Sage Path. Despite the exquisite technique, the assault was too direct.
'Analyzing...' Sasuke's Mangekyo Sharingan spun at high speed, the five-pointed star flickering with an unusual glow.
"I've seen through the trajectory." With agile footwork, Sasuke narrowly evaded the assault.
'All-Killing Ash Bones!' A gray bone extended from Kaguya's palm, shooting toward Sasuke.
The bone possessed terrifying power, capable of disintegrating an enemy's body on contact.
Sasuke simply threw a shuriken, shattering the All-Killing Ash Bone.
Kaguya's power level was undeniably high, in terms of chakra alone, she surpassed Naruto. Only the Nine-Tails enhanced with Yang Release Chakra Mode could rival her.
Kaguya's ninjutsu were supreme. Whether it was the Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack or the All-Killing Ash Bones, both were pinnacle techniques of the shinobi world.
But no matter the power level or the strength of her techniques, they were useless if she couldn't apply them.
Her attacking style was too straightforward. It wasn't a fight, it was like watching someone play an RPG, following a script, hit for hit.
Put simply, Kaguya's combat ability was abysmal.
As the battle escalated, this weakness became glaring.
No awareness, no combat talent, no tactical mind.
Had Kaguya never fought before? Of course not. A thousand years ago, she had fought countless battles, not thousands, but at least several hundred. Yet her skill remained clumsy.
She was simply not built for combat atleast mentally.
That was why she feared the Otsutsuki, and why she kept creating White Zetsu weapons.
All fear stems from insufficient firepower.
"Mother, strike his middle! Strike his middle!"
"Mother, use All-Killing Ash Bones on his instep!"
"Mother, Rabbit Hair Needle! Rabbit Hair Needle!"
"Mother..."
The combat-novice Kaguya paired with the inept tactician Black Zetsu made fighting Sasuke feel like a game.
At their level, the speed of sound was too slow. By the time Kaguya heard Black Zetsu's instructions, Sasuke had long since vanished from sight. He wasn't foolish enough to stand still and wait for an attack. Black Zetsu was literally shouting where to attack from and which attack to use, and his interruptions are also breaking Kaguya's flow.
Sasuke smiled. By fighting Kaguya, he had copied a hoard of Six Paths Level Ninjutsu. He couldn't use them yet, but he eventually would.
Because of this, Kaguya's actual threat level fell below that of Six Paths Madara.
In the original storyline, fighting Six Paths Madara and fighting Kaguya were two entirely different experiences.
Against Madara, there was only despair. Guy pushed himself to the limit only to land one massive hit with various Hokage's help, which Madara recovered from instantly. Fighting Kaguya felt like playing around, anyone could jump in and show off.
Initially, Nagato had been extremely worried. The Six Paths Puppets stood in six directions, ready to launch a rescue at any moment.
Later, he discovered there was nothing to worry about.
'Amenominaka!'
Agitated by Sasuke's kiting tactics, Kaguya finally used her trump card.
A ninjutsu that allowed her to switch dimensions at will.
The next second, the three shinobi arrived in a world of churning lava.
Lava Dimension.
However, Naruto and Nagato could fly, and Sasuke had Susanoo. The Lava Dimension was meaningless.
The Ice and Sand Dimensions that followed were the same, completely meaningless.
If they didn't know Kaguya was fighting seriously, it felt like she was merely showing off.
The next one was impressive: the Super Gravity Dimension.
Under overwhelming gravity, Sasuke was pressed flat to the ground, unable to move. Even Nagato felt the weight, forced into a half-kneeling position.
If someone attacked Sasuke now, it would be a guaranteed hit.
Unfortunately, the progenitor of chakra, the source of all chakra herself, was also knocked to the ground by the pressure of her own dimension.
It was extremely awkward.
Was she here for comedic relief?
"Hahaha, stinking brat!" Kurama howled in the Sealing Space, his blood boiling with excitement. "In the past, I called myself invincible. I wanted nothing more than to eat and wait for death."
"But after witnessing the power of those tailed brats and Goku, I realized I was nothing but a pitiful frog in a well. Especially after hearing Goku's stories about those magical orbs."
In the Sealing Space, Goku and Kurama spent most of their time training and swapping stories. Goku was an average storyteller and lacked eloquence, but his world held so many wonders that Kurama yearned to see them.
"The things you just said, stinking brat, I've thought the same for a long time!"
"This is how my Jinchuriki should be!"
Goku nodded in strong agreement. As a martial artist, one must constantly challenge the strong, challenge oneself, and push past every limit. Only then could one reach the pinnacle of martial arts.
Everything Naruto had just spoken was his honest conviction. The moment he learned to generate ki and officially became a martial artist, these thoughts took root.
Goku from the Dragon Ball-verse lived inside him. It would be a tragedy not to witness that magnificent universe for himself.
Though he was still far from the heights Goku had described, he would keep moving toward that goal.
A dream that people laugh at when spoken aloud is the only one worth pursuing.
'Demon King, Emperor of the Universe, Ultimate Warrior, God of Gods, and Majin Buu.'
'So Naruto's ambitions have already grown that far?' Though still pressed into the ground, Sasuke thought fiercely, 'After we return, I must train twice, twice, and twice again.'
Nagato mused, 'Truly worthy of Grandpa's and mine bloodline.'
"You have no idea how terrifying those 'Extraterrestrials' are," Black Zetsu insisted stubbornly. He had not accompanied the Akatsuki members to the Parallel World, so his perspective remained limited to that of a native.
"Fine... I lose." Kaguya could barely sit upright, having exerted all her strength. She could not move freely in this Super Gravity Dimension like Naruto could. Seeing no chance of victory, she was decisive.
"Mother?!" Black Zetsu exclaimed. "We still have a chance! We just need to summon the God Tree!"
Kaguya shook her head, cutting him off.
There was no need to continue. Kaguya had nearly exhausted her techniques. Only one or two spaces remained unused from her trump card, Amenominaka, and deploying them now would be meaningless.
With all her cards played, Kaguya couldn't defeat even Sasuke in half a day, let alone Nagato, whose strength was greater, or Naruto, whose power was impossible to read.
She knew her own limitations. She was never skilled in combat, capable of utilizing only a fraction of her true power. Continuing the fight would only invite mockery.
Kaguya struggled to wave her hand, and everyone vanished from the Super Gravity Dimension, returning to Amegakure.
"Come, seal me," Kaguya said, her face carefully neutral. The terrifying veins bulging from her Byakugan receded, and her features calmed.
Black Zetsu froze. "Mother?!"
It had taken a thousand years of painstaking effort to rescue her. Now, after less than an hour of freedom, they would be sealed away again?
Black Zetsu wasn't the only one bewildered. Naruto was taken aback. As long as Kaguya didn't use the Infinite Tsukuyomi to turn everyone into White Zetsu, he had no intention of sealing her. That had been the basis of their initial negotiations.
He wasn't some overly devoted son of the ninja world.
Of course, if Kaguya chose to be sealed willingly, he wouldn't object.
"In truth, being alone there isn't bad at all." Kaguya spoke as if to herself, soothing Black Zetsu's agitation. "I always loved tranquility. Those thousand years of sealing actually made me grow fond of that serene environment."
"I only came out to see my children and guard against the pursuit."
"Though I haven't seen those Hagoromo and Homura, just looking at Hagoromo's children is satisfying enough."
"Your power has already surpassed mine. As long as they don't attack you all at once, they won't be a match for you." Kaguya paused, looking at Naruto. "By the way, what should I call you?"
"Grandmother, my name is Naruto Uzumaki, he is Sasuke Uchiha , and the other one is Nagato Uzumaki." Naruto pointed to Sasuke and Nagato, then explained further to ensure Kaguya understood. "Uzumaki is the bloodline of Ashura, and Uchiha is the bloodline of Indra."
"Uzumaki and Uchiha, Go forth, my descendants, and realize your ideals. I bless you in the name of the Rabbit Goddess."
