Chapter 83 - Chapter 83: The Meeting – Part Ten and Final: Legends of the Past

At this moment, everyone present feels extremely tired and exhausted from the number of shocks and new things they have been hearing.

They truly appreciate this meeting, because without it, everyone would have remained unaware. If they did not talk to each other, the problems would not be solved, and the system Egypt had built would simply collapse like this.

All those present look at Sind, questions, confusion, and suspicion visible on their faces.

As if they are asking him:

"Did you know about this?"

"Was this a high-level secret?"

"Or did you fail in your mission and simply not know about it?"

"And if you did not know about this, then there is something that had been infiltrating Egypt and the world, threatening the world."

Sind looks at them, but he does not speak, as if he had never heard of this before.

Yet in his eyes, there is sadness and an unyielding determination.

As if, from this moment on, the Secret Intelligence Organization will not rest until there is nothing in the world that they do not know about.

The President of Egypt looks at them, but at this moment, a little anger appears on his face, because this problem is not simple.

The ancient gods are returning and manifesting within their descendants.

What kind of stupidity is this? How many ancient gods are currently manifested? And are they truly manifested, or are they merely memories?

And did all the countries know about this while we were blinded by our arrogance, believing that we controlled the world and that there was nothing capable of challenging us?

If no one from Egypt had inherited an ancient Egyptian god, would we have remained unaware of this? And could Egypt possibly have fallen in less than ten years?

Unforgivable...

It seems that we became too relaxed and stopped seeing what was in front of us.

We have been defeated.

The President of Egypt feels weakness and defeat for a moment.

Not because he wants to be a hero or the greatest president Egypt has ever had, or anything like that.

Rather, he is simply a human being.

Circumstances forced him to carry a huge responsibility during a strange time, as if all he wanted was for Egypt, its people, and our Arab brothers to be safe during this storm.

But as the saying goes:

"You want, and I want, and your Lord does what He wills."

The final word was always according to Allah's decree, as if humans would never be able to surpass their limits.

The President of Egypt sighs and says to himself:

"Could this child who inherited the legacy of an ancient Egyptian god actually be a child... or a manifested god?"

This is difficult...

It seems we must keep an eye on this child, Abdullah, so that he does not become a danger to Egypt in the future.

Adam looks at them calmly, as if he knows what is inside their minds, and speaks:

"What? Have you surrendered, or what?"

"I know your fears and I understand them. I am worried as well, but we must look at this from another perspective."

"Until now, we knew nothing, and the Intelligence Organization has not discovered anything about this. Therefore, there are two possibilities."

"The first is that they are extremely intelligent and managed to escape our surveillance, waiting for us to become unaware."

"Or the second possibility—and the stronger one as well—is that they are terrifying and afraid of Egypt."

"Do you really think that Egypt, which has done all of this and has become mysterious to them, would not make them suspect that we know about them and tell them: Stay within your limits, do not harm humanity, and we will give you freedom?"

"And we are also in control and monitoring all the descendants of the ancient gods. So perhaps, until now, they have not communicated with each other enough to expose their secret, because they do not know whether the other ancient gods will hand them over to us or betray them."

"Do not forget that they were rulers and powerful beings in the past. Their intelligence was also beyond description. Therefore, they will fear one another."

"And I think there must certainly be factors and laws that determine how this god manifests, or how his descendant inherits his memories."

"Because if that were not the case, then all the descendants would simply be manifested ancient gods, nothing more—even my son as well."

"And then we would do what the Immortal Trainees, sorcerers, and shamans did seven years ago."

"And we would fall into the same mistake."

"And they are also weak. If they were powerful, they would have already taken control of the world."

A strange sense of reassurance passes through the place, as if these words are magic that calms them and allows their minds to work better.

They are shocked by Adam's analysis and sigh.

They begin wondering whether the Organization of Medicine is even worthy of someone like him, or what.

Some of them are amazed by his charisma, his calmness, and his slight arrogance.

Everyone looks at one another and agrees with Adam's words.

There is still fear, but there is also determination, as if they are saying:

"No matter who you ancient gods are, we Egyptians are modern, and we are not weaker than our ancestors."

Then the President of Egypt looks at them and smiles, although signs of pride appear on him, as if he had imagined the worst possible scenarios in his mind.

He says to Adam:

"Thank you, Adam. Truly, your words are good. It seems we showed our arrogance and weakness and failed to realize that we were about to fall into this spiral."

Then he looks at everyone and says:

"This is a lesson for you and for me, so that we realize that we are not alone. There are billions of humans who think, and we are not their rulers."

"We are observers and protectors, nothing more."

"Although we never thought of them as our slaves, it is possible that we could become controlled by this feeling in the future."

Then he sighs and says with great pride:

"I do not want everything we built to fall and collapse before we even die."

"I care about nothing except that everything moves toward our vision of the world, and protecting our homeland from invaders and other creatures."

Then he looks at the President of the Justice Organization and the Organization of Haka Users and says:

"Do you have anything important like this, or merely reports and your objectives?"

"If you have nothing, then I want the reports on my desk."

Mazen looks at Majed, and then they both say at the same time:

"No, sir. We do not have anything particularly important. We understand that the crisis is approaching. Do not worry. We will deal with it in the best way possible."

The President nods in agreement with their words, then says in a commanding tone that leaves no room for argument:

"In the next meeting, I want to know everything about these manifested beings, and what their plan is."

"And I do not want something like this to happen again, where you overlook something from us."

"I want all the organizations, ministers, and even the military to work as one to uncover this matter."

"Is that understood?"

Everyone stands and performs the military salute, saying in one voice:

"Understood, sir!"

The President of Egypt looks at them for ten seconds, as if devouring them with his gaze.

Then he stands and leaves, saying:

"The meeting is over. Everyone, to your offices now."

Everyone looks at one another and thinks that the meeting ended quickly and was important.

But they do not speak.

They move quickly because of this problem.

And from this moment on, the world will no longer know peace because of the order given by the President of Egypt.

How is everyone doing? I've finally come to the conclusion that laziness is the worst thing that can afflict a person... well, it doesn't matter now!

The most important question: Have you missed the novel or not?

I have two new and exciting pieces of news:

The first news: I will be releasing two new novels soon, in stages. Don't worry — I promise they will be completely different and just as important as my current novel.

The second news: I am currently trying to turn my novel into a manhwa (webtoon). Yes, this will take a long time, but God willing, I will achieve my goals.

And finally, thank you all so much for your wonderful patience with me. You are the reason I keep going."
