Lightning surged again from its dorsal spines, forming a firestorm nearly a thousand kilometers wide. These terrifying giants dominated the sky, leading Crystal Ecological Corrosion-controlled constructs and warships in a counterattack. What the hell is this thing?!
The God of Scars roared in fury as he stared wide-eyed. The strange Crystal ecosystem was rapidly eroding his domain, forcibly overwriting its power and material rules. Conventional bombardment was almost useless, especially against the largest giants that acted as spearheads of Ecological Corrosion and grew stronger as the ecosystem expanded.
"This is interesting, and pretty fun, isn't it?" Behind the scenes, multitasking as three bodies at once, Mephist laughed while eating nonstop. Since raw firepower was overwhelming, the solution was simple: create individuals strong enough to withstand it.
The strategy was clear. One the Lord used Clone as the main damage dealer to push forward, while followers cleaned up the battlefield. The rest formed a fungal-mat-like support ecosystem that was expendable even if destroyed.
The core template combined three Godzilla data sets within his body, no longer simple Clone constructs but near ecosystem-integrated entities. In other words, they were like a youthful version of a planet.
Trying to turtle up and blast me to death? Fine, let's see who breaks first. True monsters should fight head-on, trading blows and beams, not hiding in the back firing endlessly.
"Come out and face me, you bastard!" A super-vibration wave tore up the surface in front, ripping it apart as layers of armor and weapons on The God of Scars's body shattered, filling him with rage.
This was a provocation. He was being challenged on his own territory by a foreign invader. The mountain-sized weapon beast surged forward, followed by a tide of metal, charging with unstoppable force.
He had planned to whittle the enemy down and probe, but now his foundation was being eaten away. Comparing authorities, The God of Scars realized the problem. His power added layers and forced damage, while the opponent filled gaps by producing units at absurd speed.
Against clones and core entities, it was a different story. The Authority of Scars worked well against similar beings, but Belial was different. He relied on raw endurance, absurd regeneration, and an impossible health pool that kept growing while being hit.
The God of Scars also noticed that Belial's attacks carried the same unavoidable damage as his own. That made things awkward. Two fighters on the same path could only settle things through pure numbers.
So he stopped holding back and deployed the strongest weapon of the entire Weapon Planet, his own body. Leading countless forbidden weapons, he advanced like an armored legion colliding head-on. His thorn-covered tail swept through and erased the spreading Crystal ecosystem, leaving only the nearly three-hundred-meter Clone standing.
Even it was covered in Crack and easily crushed underfoot. Blades and swords burst from his back and shot into the sky, followed by crystal debris falling like meteors.
"Come!" The God of Scars roared. "Kill!"
Belial accepted the invitation. "Good, this little runt didn't notice my base-raiding plan."
Beating his wings, the Black Dragon flying out from among the Crystal peaks bared a savage grin and unleashed a breath attack. Belial already knew the result. This game was already his win.
The gap still existed in the end. A thunderous roar echoed as the real the Lord finally stepped in personally, and after the one-sided slaughter, all the template individuals split off by Belial were mercilessly smashed into Shard.
The tail sweeps and claw strikes looked simple, but each movement carried the tremor of an entire planet. Almost every casual blow had the added power of weapons covering an area no less than a The Continent-scale plate. Because of that, the battle unfolded with overwhelming force, and the newly rebuilt Crystal ecosystem was once again crushed into Shard by an even greater power.
Another roar followed, and countless blades, shells, and lasers rang out together. The suffering scars contained within them were stamped evenly across everything, including even the tiniest grains of Crystal, all shattered into Shard. An ecosystem Clone that held only part of the power and was controlled by divided focus simply could not endure this, since even a casual shockwave covered an area at the level of a The Continent.
From upstream to downstream, every part of the ecosystem was struck. It relied on rapidly eroding the body of Weapon Planet to recover, but even so, it could not hold on for long. Since the real the Lord had entered the field, it was time for him to move as well. If there was no sense of fair play, then fine, flip the board and fight openly.
A sharp whistling sound cut through the air. At the center of the Crystal ecosystem, a sudden, blazing heat wave rose up as countless plants transmitted energy through highly conductive crystals, and even this mere prelude pushed the surrounding temperature past ten thousand degrees.
Points of light surged between the crystals. The energy of the entire ecosystem gathered toward a single individual, and under control, massive arrays formed directly on the ground. White-glowing energy veins then spread outward from one point, rooting themselves and breathing as they grew, before flickering slightly and sounding with a world-shaking hum.
"Super Spiral Fusion Reaction Beam." A deafening explosion followed as shattered Crystal, along with metal melted and destroyed along the way, sprayed outward and broke down into the most basic particles, producing a shockwave-like roar.
The ground surged like a tide, molten metal turning into rolling rivers of blazing iron. The sky-piercing white light, like a gigantic sword, first pierced the meteor belt above and then swept across. Weapons, orbital platforms, kilometer-long warships, satellite cannons, and layered defense systems were wiped away under that brilliant light as easily as dirt.
Even a moon-sized orbital cannon had its barrel split in two, its armor torn like paper. The white beam plunged inside, expanded, and detonated it from within. The internal energy reactions ignited a chain of even greater explosions, and though the beam only swept past briefly, nearly a third of its volume vanished.
As for the most important target, it was of course the one who had struck first without restraint, Anguirus. The towering white beam of searing heat crashed straight down, making its several-kilometer body look almost small. A furious roar erupted as the giant beast burdened with countless scarred weapons bellowed, blades and spears ringing across its back as it unleashed a roar filled with the accumulated pain of endless past battlefields.
That conceptual power manifested as solid force and collided head-on with the beam. Amid the burst of light and heat, The God of Scars was actually blasted backward by the explosion. For a moment, confusion reigned, as if the scene itself made no sense.
The God of Scars understood what this result meant. It meant that all the damage accumulated from his released scars still could not match this single strike from Belial. Impossible, he thought, since the earlier probing showed that Black Dragon never had this level of power, even with that strange domain ecosystem enhancing it.
Still, it was within a tolerable range. He had underestimated the opponent, but that was fine, since a god was more than just a title. No matter what, the advantage was still on his side, or so he believed.
His thoughts were cut off by three massive booms and blinding white lights from afar. He turned his head and opened his mouth in shock. Three freshly fired Super Spiral Fusion Reaction Beam were already rushing in at terrifying speed, each one stronger than the last.
Three huge white suns rose at the distant horizon. Their light covered nearly half the planet, and the massive shockwaves swept back and forth across the world. Blades, sword-laced platforms, and piled weapon mountains were blown away like sand, and even deeply buried missile silos were obliterated, leaving giant basins filled with molten metal.
From the wreckage emerged The God of Scars's head, one horn blasted away. The weapons on his blockbuster-covered back shattered into countless Shard fragments, and half his body was nearly burned into charcoal. As he crawled out, his eyes were filled with shock and disbelief. That kind of ultimate move was actually rapid-fire.
The damage was higher each time, and the scaling was absurd. As he was still processing this, familiar white lights appeared again in the distance, and The God of Scars's expression turned ugly. He roared at once, barely blocking before curling into a ball, while the terrain twisted into towering walls lined with blades and spikes.
Another massive clash followed between waves of scars and pure, simple heat and numbers. Watching the new suns rise in the distance, Belial slightly closed his mouth as hot vapor spilled from the corners. The glowing lines between his scales faded, and the extreme heat on and within his body was rapidly conducted away through the surrounding energy Crystal, red light spreading in all directions.
"This growth rate is not bad," he said. "I told you he was just a small fry." "If it were not for the terrain advantage, I would have killed you already."
