The Tro Dwar

The natives of the hidden islands claim that on the remaining land left in the ancient city of Pavich Dwar live creatures in the shape of men with pale skin and eyes that move independently of one another. The first reports of these humanoid beasts came from Othari traders who came to the purple bay ports to sell hides. A scholar studying the animals of the purple isle spoke with these primitive merchants and reported back to the grand university.

Every native of these Mysterious islands that we have come in contact with has tan skin, yet these monstrous things are paler than the northern Ashen. Some scholars hypothesise that they may be nocturnal or live solely in caves. The independent movement of both eyes can only be caused by a genetic form of 'drifting eye'.

For a costly sum, the grand university bought the creature's skull; many consider it to be a malformed human skull. It was far smaller than the average skull, with overlapping teeth, a crooked jaw, a flat back, a large forehead and bite marks on the back of the skull. The eye sockets were smaller even for the size of the creature, but aside from its deformities, many believe it to be that of a human.

An Eriun trader claimed that southern slave traders bought what he called 'Tro Dwar', which matches the description from the Othari traders aside from their thin hair and carnivorous diet.
