This night passed very quietly.
In the morning when Sophie Smith woke up, the first thing she did was pull back the covers and check her body for any ambiguous marks. After all, she had slept soundly and didn't know if Asher Land had done anything to her.
"You suspect me that much?" Asher Land's lazy voice sounded in her ear, "It looks like I didn't do anything last night, really sorry for not fulfilling your suspicion."
Sophie Smith awkwardly withdrew her hand from lifting the covers and glared at him weakly.
It was Alexander who entered the room to wake them up.
Although Sophie Smith still felt tired, when her son came upstairs personally to wake her, she forced herself to get up and went downstairs, with Asher Land following closely behind.
When they reached the dining room, Irene Morton was unexpectedly there as well.
