"Eva, what are you doing, I just got here, and you want me to chat with Alexander first..."
Eva Miller ignored it, dragging Sophie Smith into the room and turning around to close the door.
"Honestly, what happened between President Land and Irene Morton?" Eva seemed to act like she knew everything, with an interrogative tone.
"You, what are you talking about..." Sophie avoided eye contact, so Eva confidently deduced that Sophie was hiding something from her.
"Do you have things you can't tell me? Sophie, do you even consider me a friend?" Eva was quite displeased.
"Eva..." Sophie held Eva's hand, solemnly, "How could I not see you as a friend? Don't overthink it."
"You want me not to overthink, then just tell me what's going on." Sophie knew Eva was looking out for her, hesitated for a while, but eventually told her everything about Irene.
