Beside her, Ella Turner observed Maya Spencer, full of worries and gloom, and cautiously poked her with a finger, asking, "Maya, what exactly happened with you and the principal? You were fine yesterday."
"Ah?" Maya was startled by Ella's question.

"Nothing!" Maya pulled up a forced smile at the corner of her mouth, pretending that nothing was wrong.
She wanted to forget everything that happened today, James Bennett's identity, Liam Spencer's deceit, but despite the chaos in her mind, she still couldn't forget it all.
Seeing Maya keeping something from her, Ella pouted and unhappily asked, "Maya, is there anything we can't share between us?"
