Jiang Xue listened to the two talking while trying to figure out where she was. Although her eyes were closed, she sensed from the sounds that she was likely on a ship. Coupling this with what the two were saying, she felt she was now at sea.
The two speaking might very well be the ones in charge of guarding her, and their identity seemed to be smugglers. The thought of where she was being taken made Jiang Xue panic for a moment, then she started contacting the Little Fox in her space.
In the past, she had avoided danger thanks to the timely warnings from the Little Fox. But who knew, last night the Little Fox had actually fallen asleep. And she, herself, was too slow to sense danger, otherwise, she wouldn't have been caught.
What should she do? Now that she was at sea, how could she escape? Even if she managed to escape, how could she return?
