When Summer Sutton initially took Ariella Sawyer back, Ariella's fever wasn't too serious, just over 38 degrees.
However, after returning, somehow, the temperature started rising.
At its worst, it shot up to 41 degrees.
Summer tried to bring her temperature down physically, to no avail, and drove out in the middle of the night to buy her fever-reducing medicine.
After she took the medicine, the temperature came down for a while.
But she was still feverish.
Ariella's parents were in other cities, and now with such a high fever, Ariella was completely unconscious. Summer wanted to inform someone to come and look after her, but it was impossible.
Summer could only stay by herself and watch over her the whole night.
Past three in the morning, Summer measured Ariella's temperature and, seeing the consistently high fever, realized that if they didn't get to a hospital, the consequences could be dire. Summer put a coat on her and supported her as they walked out of the suite.
