Summer Sutton kept refreshing her WeChat, confirming that there wasn't a single message from Watt Bennet, which suddenly upset her.
This wasn't like him!
Normally, if she didn't wait for him and went off with someone else instead, Adrian Walyon would have blown up like a volcano by now.
Or maybe he was sitting at home, ready to give her the cold shoulder once she returned?
At this thought, Summer Sutton felt a chill down her back.
She hadn't even finished her dinner and didn't bother with it anymore, jumping up suddenly.
"Manuel, I'm sorry, but I have to head back. He'll be worried if he doesn't see me." Grabbing her bag, Summer Sutton rushed out of the restaurant without looking back.
She hurriedly ran outside, where a taxi happened to be passing by. Flagging it down, Summer Sutton got in and left the restaurant.
As soon as her figure disappeared, a shadow slowly appeared at the restaurant entrance.
