"Go call my attending doctor. I need to discuss with him; taking my temperature ten times a day is a bit too frequent."
Hearing him say he wanted to call the attending doctor, the young nurse's face stiffened, her expression a bit panicked, she quickly said, "Mr. Saxon, taking your temperature isn't really supposed to be this frequent. It's just out of concern for your health that we do it multiple times. If you feel it's unnecessary, we can change it."
Of course, it wasn't possible for the doctor to make her take the patient's temperature ten times a day.
A patient that needs to have their temperature taken ten times a day wouldn't be in Matthew Saxon's condition.
She was acting out of personal desire, wanting to see him more often, which is why she kept using taking his temperature as an excuse. So of course, she panicked when Matthew said he wanted to call the doctor.
