Seeing him agree, Scarlett managed to squeeze out a smile and secretly breathed a sigh of relief, "Knox Simmons, thank you."
He furrowed his brow, looking displeased, "Don't say thank you to me anymore, are you still treating me like an outsider?"
"Then... I won't say thank you, just as you said, I'll treat you to a meal sometime. However, don't complain if the place I choose isn't fancy enough."
"As long as I'm with my sweetie Scarlett, anything is fine. If you really take me to a high-end place, I wouldn't enjoy it. I've grown tired of that stuff; I eat it every day."
Scarlett laughed, "Then I'll treat you to soy milk and fried dough sticks, fresh enough for you, right? You don't eat much of that, do you, Young Master?"
