Mu Xi felt a momentary sense of despair, then asked him with a hopeful attitude.
"Are you here to find someone?"
Yang Sheng shook his head, "No, I live here."
Mu Xi suddenly had the urge to cancel her lease, but quickly regained her composure.
"Really? I thought you lived with your family."
Mu Xi was glad she still had some quick wit, preventing herself from embarrassing in front of Yang Sheng.
Yang Sheng shook his head, "No, I'm used to living alone."
Mu Xi then smiled and agreed, "Living alone is nice, you have your own space, and you don't have to listen to elders nagging, right?"
She tried to keep the conversation centered on Yang Sheng, however, he wasn't an easy person to fool.
"That's true, especially since the environment and facilities here are much more advanced compared to the old district. How about you, Miss Mu? Do you live here too?"
At first, Yang Sheng did think Mu Xi was visiting a friend because her residence wasn't here.
