On the way back to the hotel, Munni sat in silence, gazing out at the scenery. The mercury moonlight shining through the car window illuminated her face, making the heavy thoughts in her brows all the more clear.
Several times, Yisen tried to talk to her, but she gave a perfunctory answer and continued to stare outside.
Once back in the hotel suite, Munni went straight into the bathroom to bathe and freshen up, then returned to the room and collapsed onto the bed.
After finishing his routine and exiting the bathroom, Yisen saw her listlessly staring at the ceiling.
He lay down next to Munni, habitually pulling her into his embrace, and asked softly, "Tell me what's been on your mind all day."
Munni rubbed her face against Yisen's chest, reached out to hug him back, and asked, "Yisen, how do you think we're doing right now?"
She paused, then added, "Our relationship status."
"I think it's good, why this sudden question?"
