Grace Quarters spoke despondently, "Will he feel distressed?"
"Of course he will, Malcom loves you so much, seeing you this way would break his heart!" Ivy Wood assured confidently.
Finishing her statement, Ivy Wood remembered something and continued to ask Grace Quarters, "Grace, could it be that you've been sick these days, never stepped out, and haven't heard any news from outside?"
Grace Quarters looked at Ivy Wood, not understanding the intent behind her question.
"Isn't it just Malcom's engagement outside? What other news could there be?"
She didn't want to know any news, deciding to leave once her health improved.
Ivy Wood sat down by Grace Quarters' bedside, looked at her, and asked in return, "Then you must not know that Malcom didn't actually get engaged, right?"
Grace Quarters was shocked.
What did she say?
Malcom didn't get engaged?
How is that possible?
That night, Malcom clearly said he had found happiness... and told her to leave!
