In the villa, Mu Yan woke up and went downstairs for breakfast.
Breakfast was as lavish as always, but today Mu Yan didn't have much of an appetite. After just a couple of bites she couldn't eat anymore, and on top of that she felt nauseous, like she was going to throw up.
Yu Ma walked over and asked with concern, "Young Madam, are you feeling unwell?"
Mu Yan shook her head. "I'm fine, maybe my stomach got chilled. I just don't feel like eating."
"But you can't skip breakfast." Yu Ma frowned. "How about I make you some plain congee?"
Mu Yan thought for a moment, then nodded. "Okay then."
"Please wait a bit." Yu Ma turned and went to the kitchen.
Mu Yan glanced at the breakfast on the table, but really had no appetite. She pulled out her phone and checked the news.
About half an hour later, Yu Ma came out carrying a bowl of plain congee.
