Early the next morning, Iris Harris got up early, planning to go to the hospital to express her stance to Giselle Lester.
She was eating in the dining room when Henry Ford came down. She took a few bites and said to him at the table, "Mr. Ford, I'm going to the hospital."
Henry Ford nodded.
He seemed a bit indifferent.
Iris Harris didn't mind and walked to the sofa in the hall to pick up her bag, heading towards the door.
The heavily guarded doorway had a row of attendants standing there. When Iris Harris reached the entrance, she was stopped by one of them reaching out.
"Um... I'm going out now," Iris Harris said, puzzled by their action, "Can you let me pass?"
The attendant looked ahead with a blank expression and spoke in a cold tone, "I'm sorry, Miss Harris, we've received orders from The Pope not to allow you to step outside this villa."
Iris Harris stared wide-eyed in shock.
Henry Ford didn't allow her to go out?
What was going on?
